Indulge in Breath-taking Piton Views from Your Private Eco-Friendly Villa

Disconnect to Reconnect:

Is it time to disconnect from your stress? Do you want to reconnect with your loved ones?

Say good-bye to tension, as you escape to this tropical paradise.
Drive your friends and family wild with envy as you send them postcard-ready Piton pictures from your villa.

Or invite them to join you, as Cashew Villa comfortably beds up to 6 people.

Arrive In Style:

When you arrive at Cashew Villa, you will be greeted by Berthia, our house manager. With over 20 years of hospitality experience, she will make sure that your stay is unforgettable.

Berthia has high standards, as she ensures the house is clean and ready for your arrival.

She’ll be there three days each week - Monday, Wednesday, & Friday - to tidy up the place and assist you in any way.

Want even more privacy? No problem. You let Berthia know if you want fewer (or more) visits.

If you want, you can arrive in style to a freshly cooked creole meal prepared by Berthia. Don’t worry – she knows how to cook for all dietary restrictions and allergies.

Feeling adventurous?

Ask her to prepare a local rum punch to go with your meal.

Settle into your new home away from home. No need to panic, as we provide some breakfast essentials that let you have a lazy first morning while you plan your stay.

Nestor, our pool maintenance and security expert, will also be around too on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. He helps keep the pool in tip-top shape for Insta-worthy pictures.

For extra peace of mind, Nestor stays over in the small cabin near the car park at night. Any maintenance issues and he is always happy to help.

Your New Home Away From Home:

Imagine waking up to chirping birds, a cool ocean breeze, and the stunning view of the Pitons every morning.

The house has large sliding glass doors that opens up the heart of the house to a stunning balcony.

You can have your breakfast every morning with the panoramic view of the Gros and Petit Pitons, the Caribbean Sea, and sometimes even Saint Vincent is visible.

This classic spacious Creole house has 3 bedrooms with 3 on-suite bathrooms, giving you the freedom to host friends or family. All bedrooms have king-sized beds, two of which can be transformed into two twin beds for accommodating larger families.

But don’t feel obligated to share if you’re looking for a romantic getaway (Shh.... it will be our little secret that there is extra space available in the villa).

The full kitchen and downstairs kitchenette allow you to cook at your new home if you want relaxed dining with an impossible-to-beat view. Or you can live like a local, and have Berthia cook all your meals for you (ask about pricing).

Want something more luxurious?

No problem. There are several fine-dining restaurants only minutes away:
 Anse Chastanet Tree House or Apsara Restaurant (Indian cuisine)
 Boucan at Hotel Chocolat
 Dasheene at Ladera

Use the pool-side BBQ grill to cook freshly caught fish, chicken, or even lobster if it’s in season.

Cashew Villa truly is your Creole home away from home.

Living Together with Nature:

At Cashew Villa, we pride ourselves on being eco-friendly.

The pool is heated to a comfortable temperature of 27 degrees Celsius year-round by underground plumbing that uses the sun’s natural heat to warm the water.

The pool also uses a salt-water system, which is more gentle on skin, eyes, and hair. No more crunchy hair after your vacation!

Rainwater is the main source of our water supply. The water tanks are monitored and inspected annually to ensure the highest quality. The water is double-filtered, giving you fresh mineral-rich water.

And if you accidentally spend too long in the sun, we have aloe plants growing nearby that will speed up the healing process.

Close (But Not Too Close) To All the Attractions:

At Cashew Villa, you will be in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush tropical forest. With no neighbors in sight, you will have complete privacy.

A hidden benefit of being so secluded? Star-gazing. Admire the jaw-dropping beauty of the Milky Way as you lay on the lounge chairs. Be stunned by the sheer quantity of stars that twinkle above you. If you’re lucky, you’ll even be able to make a wish or two on shooting stars.

Spend your days lounging by the large private pool or exploring the island’s nearby attractions. The villa is 10 minutes away from the beach and less than 30 minutes away from popular sites:

 Sulfur Springs
 Drive-in Volcano
 Botanical Garden
 Hiking the Pitons
 Scuba Diving & Snorkeling
 Dolphin and Whale Watching
 Deep Sea Fishing

Stunning views

Beautiful views and great pool. Peaceful. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive to get to the house. Wish we had a/c. As long as you have a couple of fans in each room it is fine. Cools down a little at night with the fans on. One of the most beautiful views on the island! We hated to leave!

Gorgeous View

What an incredible location! Grilling a steak on the charcoal bbq overlooking the Pitons during sunset is a great memory. Berthia is very helpful organizing taxis, cooking a delicious creole chicken dinner, or whatever you need. Nestor, the night security guy, roasted us fresh cashews from the cashew tree, and got us a ripe papaya off that tree. It’s a slow, bumpy ride up to this high perch but definitely worth it. Very close to scuba diving with Scuba St Lucia at Anse Chastenet. Close to the Pitons if you want to hike them. We did and it was a real workout but another beautiful view.

Peace and Beauty

We stayed in three different houses in St. Lucia and this was by far my favorite! The view is unmatched, the pool and outdoor spaces are amazing, and Berthia and Nestor made our time there extra special. If I could do it over again, I'd have stayed with them longer. Thank you Berthia & Nestor!

One of the Best villa in st Lucia

Pictures can’t describe how beautiful is the view in real life. Our family of 5 went there mid February for a week and the villa had everything that we needed. Kids had a blast at the pool meanwhile me and my husband were enjoying the sunsets. There was Berthia that cooked for us delicious food twice (she was so sweet and nice). And Nestor security ,that made us feel so safe at the house (kids loved him so much) he was so friendly. The only thing that you will need is a 4x4 car. The roads were so rough and tight but for us that was very fun adventure. For sure I will go back again.

Paradise

A beautiful and very private villa perched on the top of a hillside with what must be the BEST view on the island! We loved everything about this rental villa! Nice flow to the house, great outdoor living areas, the pool was wonderful and refreshing in the heat, the gardens around the villa are mature, unique and filled with friendly birds and at the heart of it all was that amazing Cashew tree! Berthia and Nestor were both helpful and kind and my husband is still raving about how good Berthias Creole fish and broth was!

Cashew Villa

Our stay at Cashew Villa was excellent. We were there for a week. The view is breath taking as stated by the host. We were there when hurricane Beryl came through and the host, groundskeeper (Nestor), and housekeeper (Berthia) made sure we were safe and taken care of. The road to the house is steep but you get used to it very quickly. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay here again!

Location

The views of the Caribbean sea and the magnificent Pitons was wonderful. We loved the house and outdoor spaces especially the pool which was meticulously maintained by Nester. Berthia thought of everything to ensure our comfort and was able to provide local insight (where to shop, dine, sightsee). The road to the house is indeed steep but the scare factor goes down each time and important to take it slow and easy. Thank you for the warm hospitality Saint Lucia.

5 Stars – Unforgettable Stay at Cashew Villa!

We stayed at Cashew Villa from April 12–19, and it was nothing short of magical. The villa has the best views of the Pitons on the entire island — absolutely breathtaking! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.A true highlight of our trip was the incredible house manager, Berthia. She was an absolute gem — warm, attentive, and so helpful. She prepared a couple of meals for us (for an extra charge), and they were delicious, some of the best food we had on the island. Berthia also helped coordinate transportation and made everything so seamless. She truly made our experience extra special. The private pool was pristine and perfectly positioned to soak in those iconic Piton views. Communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish. They even arranged airport transportation for us, which made arrival a breeze.Cashew Villa exceeded every expectation, and we would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in St. Lucia!

Amazing Piton views

We had a wonderful stay at Cashew Villa. The views were second to none. The pool was the perfect temp. The linens were soft. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Berthia was lovely. She cooked an amazing meal that lasted for days and gave us advice on where to visit. She kept the house very clean. Hector also was lovely and a friendly face to come "home" to. The road was steep but manageable. As mentioned in other reviews it was 80 degrees at night which is a little out of my comfort zone for sleeping but the fans made it mostly bearable. Overall it was an amazing stay and I highly recommend it!

Cashew Villa, Soufrière – 5 Stars, 2 Cats, 1 Frog KickCashew Villa is paradise. Stunning views, lush gardens, a pool to die for, and vibes so good they could withstand even the most… enthusiastic neighbours.Enter: the New Yorkers next door. Lovely people, I’m sure, but apparently trained in competitive shouting. Their voices echoed through the hills like motivational speeches at breakfast. Thankfully, Cashew Villa is so magical, not even Broadway-level bellowing could spoil it.Local wildlife included two adopted cats—Adolph Kitler (with a moustache that raised questions) and Rabbi Mittens, a sock-wearing sage. We fed them; they blessed us with a mouse-free stay. There’s also a pond with nightly-blooming lotus flowers and a choir of large, passionate frogs. One frog, confused or ambitious, launched itself onto my son’s leg mid-step and was unintentionally booted. We apologised. Karma was restored when we rescued a frog stuck in the pool the next morning.Would we go back? In a heartbeat. Cashew Villa is chaotic perfection—a blend of nature, noise, and Caribbean charm that left us sun-kissed, frog-conscious, and very, very happy.

Great view

We loved our stay. Had a great view and we really loved the pool. If staying here, be prepared to see bugs. We had ants and a cockroach in our bed the first night. This is an open home so it’s bound to happen. If you’re afraid of moths, this is not the house for you. I will say, the high smell of moth balls was unpleasant. We couldn’t close the doors because of it. The property manager Mrs. B is Great and the security guard Nester was nice to have around the whole time! Both were extremely friendly and helped us out. Mrs.B showed us to the grocery store and Nester helped us locate clothes on a Sunday after delta lost our luggage. There are no air conditioned areas or TVs so be prepared for that. But trust me when I say, the views and pool make up for it. It’s close to the beach down at Anse Chastanet which was our favorite. Highly recommend staying here if you’re a lover of the outdoors.

Incredible stay!

We stayed at Cashew Villa for 3 weeks. Being high up on the side of a mountain, the home is a bit rustic and the drive up the road to get there is really rough and nerve racking at first but we eventually got used to it. The home had almost everything we needed (no washing machine) and while Berthia, the clearing/house manager offered to take our laundry and do it for us, we chose to handwash our clothes and hang them to dry outside ... no problem. The pool was awesome! We so enjoyed it and the taking in the incredible views of the pitons and all the different boats, cruise ships and sailing vessels that came by each day. Nestor, the landscape/maintenance/security guy took great care of us as did Berthia. We took in many adventures and were blessed to be there to celebrate St. Lucia's Independance Day celebration. What a great experience. Folks at the Uprising Bar in town were so friendly and accommodating, Great memories made, lots of photos and a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Complaint

My only frustration was that you at VRBO intervened in my communications with the owners and blocked us from exchanging email addresses and phone numbers until literally the last day. I have no idea what you were trying to accomplish by doing that, and it made me quite angry, not with the owners, who were very cooperative, but with you at VRBO. We had already paid, and I feel we were entitled to that information without interference and censorship from a rental agent. You should stop doing that.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time. If our travels ever include repeats, this would definitely be one! Reading other reviews, we were kind of scared of the drive up the mountain…. We found it to be a little scary the first time, but in hindsight, I attribute that to the first time unknown! One of our party is from Utah and used to driving in the mountains….it was really no different than that. You definitely need a 4x4 if renting. We were pleasantly surprised that several of our excursions even picked us up. The beds were comfortable; well appointed kitchen amenities and supplies. We only got hot one night, but the provided fans helped with that. We had zero issue with mosquitos /bugs. As others have mentioned; both Berthia and Nester were committed to ensuring a good stay! The views are surreal. We went to dinner a couple nights at the Resorts we didn’t choose, wondering if we missed the “luxury” of being in a resort. I have to say, I am so glad we opted for this property instead, after visiting them, I am certain we would have been disappointed.

Cashew Villa

We had an amazing stay in beautiful St. Lucia. The property location is amazing. The views are second to none. The villa was clean and well equipped. But it is the pool and view of the Pitons that makes this rental property stand out. As all the other reviews claim--the drive is not for the faint of heart. WE live in rural Canada, and are used to back roads and thus enjoyed the fun switchbacks. We chose not to rent a car, but relied on Uber St Lucia (Lynel) who was amazing. We are active adults, and walked to town or the beach everyday. You want to be in good shape to do this as the hill is steep. Once you reach the top when you walk back up, the pool is a godsend. Nestor and Berthia take good care of you. When we arrived, it was after dark. Berthia's meal was most appreciated. Nestor takes care of the property and pool, and does a great job. Both know a lot about the island. You will not be disappointed if you are thinking about renting this property. Val and the gang

Must Stay!!

We had a wonderful time. Berthia and Nester's hospitality and friendly vibe made us feel at home immediately. Berthia’s dinner and rum punch are worth it and was flavorful authentic creole meal. The Villa is situated in a tranquil area and offers amazing views of the Pitons and is close by sugar beach, hotel Chocolat, hiking the pitons, diamond falls, the drive-in volcano and sulfur springs. We did it all and had time to enjoy peace and relaxation at the Villa. After hiking Gros Piton, tranquility and remote beauty was a must and we felt guilty for being so spoiled and taken care of at the Villa. We highly recommend and cannot wait to come back and hope to see Nester and Ms B again. We will always cherish the fond memories built in our time staying at the Villa and visiting St Lucia. We cooked many meals at the villa and had ample room with our three boys 11, 14 &17). Make sure you have a SUV to get to the villa, the drive is certainly challenging and having a two wheel drive vehicle will leave you frustrated. Pool was fantastic and the deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We felt safe the whole time we were at the villa (and driving around for that matter). We left most of the doors and windows open all night for the cross breeze to keep the house cool. Fantastic place! One Love!!

Spectacular!

JUST WOW! My family and I were fortunate enough to enjoy a week in paradise at the Cashew Villa this summer. As an active family bitten by wanderlust, we seek adventures and beauty off the beaten path...and boy, did this property deliver! We took in the absolutely stunning views of the Pitons, a vista that never ceased to amaze. The property is nestled high up on a hillside and, I am certain, offers the best views on the island. As an amateur photographer, I am was thrilled to capture some gorgeous time lapse videos overlooking the Pitons. We greatly enjoyed the privacy and this property was the perfect way to both begin and end our daily St. Lucian adventures. While in St. Lucia, we enjoyed horseback riding, a helicopter flight, a St. Lucian food tour, a land and sea boat tour, the Tet Paul Nature Trail, a visit to Grand Eden Estates, and relaxing on the black sand beaches nearby. The grounds of the property were immaculate and kept by an equally kind and welcoming groundskeeper/guard, Nestor. Nestor was wonderful with our two children, ages 8 and 6, and really made our stay special and memorable! We were also lucky enough to hire Miss Berthia to cook us two delicious and traditional St. Lucian meals. The portions she prepared were very generous and lasted us for several meals. She also had our fridge stocked upon arrival with some essentials to get us started. The pool was perfect and our children enjoyed daily swims. Truly thankful for our best stay yet!

Epic views in the boonies

There's probably very few properties that you will get a better view at. I loved the property, the pool and the views. Nestor, the groundskeeper was amazing. He provided a lot of good advice navigating the area and even roasted some freshly fallen cashews for us. Berthia, the housekeeper made us an amazing home-cooked meal on the first day. It was enough food for several meals. The downsides were the bed and the road to the property. The bed was much too firm for both my wife and myself to get a good night's rest on. The road was legit scary going up the first time but lost it's scare factor after driving it a couple times. It still felt like a slog to go up and down it everytime though. The bugs weren't too bad for being in the middle of nowhere. Keep the doors closed after sunset and keep a light on outside to distract the bugs. If you leave any food out I guarantee the ants will come for in less than half an hour but that's why you don't leave food out. I would suggest to the property owners to invest in some screens though, it would be nice to keep the bugs out at night and still let that cool breeze flow through the house. All in all I would absolutely stay here again and am glad we choose this property.

Absolutely wonderful

The property is exactly as pictured and described! The view is second to none, the pool and outside area is absolutely fantastic. The pool is large with a max depth of 6 feet, so plenty of room. The outside space for dining at any time of the day is absolutely wonderful. The outside space for lounging by the pool is next level fantastic. It is open air, so you will have bug bites. We had no mosquitoes, but there are no see ems that will get you. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan and a oscillating fan at the base of the bed. The oscillating fans are very strong so you’re very comfortable at night. The road up is definitely not for the faint of heart. You will need an all-wheel-drive car. I recommend that you do not take a taxi service. It will cost you as much as the Villa plus you do not want to be bouncing around in one of those taxis. I don’t recommend a taxi for sightseeing either because the roads are just way too steep and back-and-forth. If you’re easily carsick, and I do not recommend a taxi. It takes an hour and a half to go about 20 miles in any direction. Once you’re at this breathtaking villa and you want to go to the beach all you have to do is drive back down the mountain and go right and you’ll end up at anse chasenet with wonderful diving and gorgeous beaches. There is a beach bar as well for dinners and lunches. Nester the watchman and Berthia cater to us wonderfully! Nester make sure that we have plenty of local fruits and coconuts, we even toasted cashew

We had an amazing stay at Cashew Villa. The view is absolutely breathtaking and though we have travelled extensivély, nothing could compare. The home is just like the pictures. The pool was pristine and great for nightime star gazing. We were graciously welcomed by Berthia who had a delicious meal waiting for us. We were 6 people including hungry teenagers and still it lasted 3 days! The rum punch was potent! The ride up was exactly as others have described- harrowing to say the least! One tip is to not slow down on your way up, turn off the AC to get more power and 100% you need AWD! But the view is worth it and you’ll get used to it.The home itself is cozy. It does get warm at night but we used the fans. There are mosquito nettings in the main bedroom drawer. We used it to cover the doorway so we could leave the door open. We did have a lot of mosquitoes when sitting outside but that is expected when your home is in the jungle. Bring bug spray! The sounds of birds and crickets was magical! At night the sunset and stars were incredible. We went down to the beach Anse Mamin where they have great snorkelling. The home has some snorkel equipment though some of the masks don’t work or are broken. It’s not a bad idea to bring your own though we were fine taking turns. Overall, we adored our stay. We loved the peace and quiet. The house itself is not fancy but has everything we could need. Communication with Chris & Joyce was easy. I would highly recommend it!

The view is everything! There is no picture that could adequately capture the breath-taking vista from Cashew Villa. High up, above the beautiful Caribbean Sea, with the Pitons and the ocean in view, framed by all sorts of flowering plants and trees and oh my the smell is divine! Berthia was helpful and will cook you a delicious meal upon request (we asked her to prepare a local fish dish). Anse Chastenet and Anse Mamin are very close by - less than a mile but 10 minutes to drive bc of the roads. You could also walk down the road to the beach, but then you have to walk back up up up. We spent a few days at the beach and rented chairs and umbrellas one day (66 for 2 chairs and one umbrella). There is nice snorkeling at Anse Chastenet, and snorkel gear in the villa that you can use.The biggest downside to this location is the road to get there. You 100% need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there. The road is mostly a single lane, very potholed and extremely steep. It definitely got easier the more we drove it. Bring groceries (there is a Massy in Soufriere) - it would be challenging to get to Soufriere at nighttime with the way the roads to the villa are, so we did not eat dinner out.The pool was peaceful, refreshing and lovely. But truly, this place is all about the view.
