This was a great home to stay in for a business trip to Columbia. Location is near USC and Five Points. Walking distance to great food, shopping and the school. House is large, well decorated and in a safe desirable location. We will definitely return.
First let me say the response time is horrible. When entering the home I was asked to take the garbage to the curb for pickup from previous tenants. All the thermostats were off and the house was a cold 53 degrees that took hours to heat. I then found urine on the baseboards and wall that I had to clean, the inside of the coffee pots were molded, all the dishes were nasty and had to be cleaned. The nepresso machine ddidnt work and the comforters and carpets were also stained and dirty. Upon telling the owners it took until the next day to receive a response to send a cleaning crew. We were there for my daughter’s wedding with my elderly mother so no thank you as I had already had to clean a house before then. I have multiple photos sent to the owner as well and I received a 230 dollar refund smh. Hardly enough for my trouble as this house is NOT worth it so save your money!!!
The area and home was beautifully kept and styled. Which was great when you have teenagers. From the balcony and tub to the huge dining room to host a long awaited family dinner. It was a sweet quaint place for my family to relax and spend time together after long anticipated time. It’s def is one my favorite family moments. <3

We only stayed one night. Valentine’s night. We were in town for a concert also and the host was aware of this. Our plan was to check in the house, shower and go out to eat before the concert, however, we had no how water. Also no iron or WiFi. I immediately asked the host for help with all this and got very vague replies. I got the WiFi password an hour after we checked out. She stated the iron may be in laundry room but we searched the whole house and never found one. She called a plumber to fix hot water who arrived at 7:45 Sunday morning to wake us up and shut the water completely off while he was working on the repairs. He was still working on it when we checked out at 11, btw. It was a disaster and host showed no compassion or care at all.
We stayed here for a graduation at Ft. Jackson. While it’s closer to the college, it is still a short 10 min drive to Ft. Jackson. The property is clean and roomy. Plenty of bathrooms for a group which one of the main reasons we selected. Things to be aware of, lots of steps Ti front door and access to upstairs rooms, if anyone has mobility issues. Only one bed/bath downstairs, remaining are upstairs. The living room has furniture that is too small for the space and uncomfortable, but not a deal breaker. The owners should upgrade this area so it aligns with the rest of the house, don’t cheap out in the main living space. However bedrooms are comfy and adequate. The kitchen is nice and functional, only issue is coffee maker doesn’t have an auto off feature…this should be upgraded! Overall the home is in a cute neighborhood and is nice, clean, and convenient. I would stay again.
