Love this little cottage and the gorgeous setting. So much fun to play in the water. You can walk out forever and it will still be at your waist, crystal clear and sandy bottom. So peaceful. You don’t want to leave.

The host communicated quickly and answered any questions we had. The cottage was perfect; Very clean and equipped with anything you could want or need! The beach and water access was beautiful and so much fun. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to book again sometime!

Great place for a family or small group. Easy to access and quick walk to the beach. *Not a swimming beach. Each check in and the host was fast with communications. Very clean and well equipped with amenities to make the stay comfortable.Good spot to stay and explore this area of the UP.

This cabin was perfect for our week in Garden! The dogs and my three-year-old nephew absolutely loved the beach (and all the toys!) The cabin is an open concept with plenty of room for relaxing, visiting, eating, and playing games. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked with anything and everything you might need including all the different ways you might possibly want to make coffee (drip, percolator, and a French press complete with a scale. We loved it!)The location felt very convenient and close enough to plenty of places for outings (be sure to check out Fayette Historic Park, Fayette Beach, Dock Bar & Grill, and ALL of the private roadside veggie and bakery stands along the way) while still feeling private and secluded enough (and very safe.) The sunset views can’t be beat and we will definitely stay again! Heather was a fantastic host!

Recommend 150%!!!! I had a great experience at this property. The place was super cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed for my trip. The owner was incredibly accommodating and even let me stay an extra day due to the snow, which I really appreciated. The neighbors were also very welcoming and made the stay feel even more comfortable. Overall, a perfect spot—I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in Cooks, Michigan. The location was perfect, peaceful and close to everything we wanted to explore in the UP. The home was very clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. The views were beautiful and made it easy to relax and unplug. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

This was such a lovely place to stay! Various serene, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well stacked with pots, pans, dishes, and condiments. We would definitely stay here again! Greatly appreciate this experience.

Very clean, well stocked with everything you need and more, well decorated, good response from owner when needed! Couldn't ask for a better view of the lake, and firepit with all the wood you need for it was an added plus!
