Nice place
We stayed here for just one night after going to the aquarium nearby as a group. The neighborhood is, as said by other reviewers, not the most developed and there are several dilapidated buildings if you walk a couple blocks out, but the sidewalks are clean, the roads are well-paved (mostly; there are some brick streets nearby which could use some work), the door has an electronic lock which needs a code to get inside, and the neighbors are quiet and seem friendly enough. There is street parking as well as a back lot to park in. The stairs are steep (as is common with townhouses) with no upper banister and can be challenging for someone with a disability, knee problem, or balance issues, so please take caution. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was well-stocked, there were plenty of extra blankets available for anyone who wanted them (and it was a bit chilly that night!), and the bunk beds were large enough for small adults to sleep in. There is a kitchen on-site available for use, though we didn't use it except to keep leftovers cold in the refrigerator, so I can't comment on its functionality. I communicated with James over text a few times to confirm the process of booking the rental and the expectations set out for me as a guest, and I appreciated the clarity of his rules, the promptness of his responses, and his availability considering the last-minute nature of the booking. In my opinion, it was a great stay for the price tag.
