The Casita is nestled in beautifully crafted Belizean hardwood construction, fully air-conditioned (though we prefer it with only the breezes!) and well appointed for your stay, only a 5 minutes ride from Secret Beach. Each casita generates its own electricity from sunlight & collects filtered rainwater for warm showers and washing dishes. The pool is always the perfect temperature and not a soul around to interrupt your deep dive into your favourite novel. A 20-minute ride puts you in the heart of San Pedro for shopping, diving and lots of restaurants. Great food at Guapo's or The Roadkill Cafe is within walking distance away or ride to The Sunset Palace for a frozen cocktail and get the best seat on the island (hint... it's a table in the water) for the incredible sunset view!

Great vacation

We were looking for a place away from the hustle, bustle of San Pedro…a quiet getaway. We found just that at Dulce Suenos Casitas. The casita was very comfortable, had everything needed to make breakfast (or another meal), great hot water….and the pool was an added plus! Will definitely stay here again if we come to Ambergris Caye!

Perfect size to just relax; remote and private

We loved everything about Dulces Suenos. If you love being on your own out in the middle of nowhere, this is a perfect little spot. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. There's always a breeze so we just enjoyed open windows and left the air conditioner off! This property would be ideal if travelling with another couple, and booking both casitas so you can just have a private pool party all week!

The property is amazing. It is just a small room with a bathroom and kitchenette, but it was clean. The bed was the absolute most comfortable bed I've ever encountered away from home! The pool was clean and refreshing. The hosts were very quick to get back to me on questions and very helpful. The only thing that hinders my review at all, is that it says the casita is .1 mile from the beach and a 5 minute walk, but it is a 5 minute golf cart ride, and the walk would be long in the heat. Still, it was a great place to stay and I would stay again!

Secret / Not so Secret Beach

The place is not on the beach but thats ok as the quiet at nigth was very relaxing , especially after staying a night in Belize City - Property Manager and her partner were awesome and helpful. Make sure you have clear directions we did not and spent 2-3 hours trying to find this place and then no key? Lucky we tripped the ring alarm and were able to talk to owner who did not know we were coming? Something about just changed PM because of these problems - he called the current PM and all went well - also no hot water as it is totally off grid but no big deal - quick shower . Crocodiles about 1/2 mile away were cool to see . Roadkill Bar fanatastic.
