Was a beautiful cabin! It felt very homey and cozy. Christine made the process really easy. I also loved the book of activites to do around johnson. Ive been going to college her for two years and I didn't even know of some of the places and activites in her book. Definitely t
Very clean spot. Stayed while visiting my daughter who was dancing at Burklyn at Johnson State. Only one other house was occupied nearby, so it was very tranquil down a long driveway. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and nice dirt road walks.
We stayed here while work was being done on our home in Vermont. The cabin did not disappoint, it was clean, clearly newly renovated, private and in a beautiful location. Host was extremely accommodating, easy to reach and helpful. Thank you for an amazing stay!
The cabin was adorable! Beautiful setting in the woods. Clean with amenities and subtle touches to make it special. Owner was very responsive to questions. Very happy it was pet friendly!

Chris our host was very welcoming. Lovely place for an overnight.
The property is off the beaten path but only a few minutes from town and only about 25 minutes from Stowe. It was clean, adorable and perfect for our stay! We will definitely be back!
I couldn’t have asked for more of a cabin that felt like home when we got there. Super cozy and clean ready for us to move in early. Also you’re a short distance and will find there’s plenty to do near you. Christine was very accessible and clear with directions. I enjoyed the trip, thank you Christine!
Overall our stay was 10 out of 10! The cabin made us feel at home and not like we were staying in someone elses house. The host was very friendly and willing to help any way she could. We stayed for a week and found plenty to do in the area. We are already planning a fall trip!
After figuring out the WiFi-door code-and water softener noise it was excellent all the way around. We will return and we will recommend to friends and family. Very pleased!
Excellent pet friendly cozy cabin with everything you need!
Our stay here was great. Christine was very responsive and quick to help, and the cabin was spotless, well stocked and had some awesome tracel guides with suggestions on things to do which was really helpful, including some local waterfalls. The space was very open and airy, with comfy furniture and tons of natural light. Lots of cooking utensils and amenities for a comfortable stay. Best part was being able to bring my dogs, who love to adventure and be involved. Thanks so much! Will definitely be back
The stay was nice and peaceful. The house is exactly what i needed. I highly recommend bear cub cabin. I was only able to stay one night. I woke up late and she gave me some extra time to check. I would highly recommend her. She stayed up late to let me in. She’s really great. Thank you again so much !!!!!
This cabin was so clean and comfortable! My son and I enjoyed the natural surroundings and peaceful setting in the woods too. It gave us a chance to relax and catch-up. We also ventured around the area and enjoyed the sights. We hiked The Camel's Hump and came in contact with a black bear on the trail. The bear didn't bother us and we respectifully gave it space. The hike was fun and beautiful. We loved Vermont and we would definitely stay again at this location. We would not hesitate at all. Short drive for groceries and eateries/pubs of different types and close to outdoor activities too. Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Perfect, cozy cabin tucked in the woods of Johnson, VT. The owners show great pride of ownership and truly appreciate their guests. This place is spic and span. You'll be welcomed with just the right touch in their decorations. The location is private and feels far away but you are just an email or text away from the owners, who are quick to respond. You'll be surround by the best of what Vermont offers. Close to it all.. Book this cabin, you won't be disappointed. This is NOT your average cabin in the woods. This home is cozy and welcoming.

It was a beautiful setting and a beautiful cabin! Everything was immaculate and homey. We loved it!
The only thing that can be improved is the directions for the code to open the cabin. It should include hitting the right side, hitting the check and then entering the code. The check part was left off the instructions so it took awhile to figure that out. Otherwise, perfect.
Do not miss this place! It is super clean, super cozy, and overall a great spot! Our host Christine was the most attentive since the moment we arrived. We pulled into the wrong driveway initially and Christine must have seen me and called me to tell me exactly where to go. Upon arrival at our cozy cabin “The Buck Rub” the exterior lights turned on automatically and illuminated the wooded area and front of the cabin. Once we entered we were greeted by a very freshly clean smelling and absolutely spotless residence. It was warm and toasty with buck themed accents all around right down to custom napkins! We were all very comfortable right away, even our dog Pickles. If you’re thinking of staying here, don’t hesitate, book it now! You will not regret it.
Everything you need for a short stay. Check in was prompt and offered early. Newer construction with cozy but minimal decor. Bed was firm and supportive, super comfy, slept great! Smart TV's and wifi worked great. The only thing missing for a longer stay would be a laundry machine. Off the beaten path, but not too far. Beautiful views just down the road!
I take pride in what I do . Ive been in business doing Doggy daycare for 16 years and my husband has been in construction for over 30. We decided to build a Airbnb because we wanted to make use of the country land we have. We want people to enjoy the country as well as being close to other attractions.
