Comfortable house for a large group

House was comfortable and well furnished. Nice porches and hot tub! Just a short, easy walk to the beach. We would stay there again. Support staff very responsive!

The house is gorgeous! The views are gorgeous. House is very spacious, great bedrooms/bathrooms. Elevator was helpful getting groceries and luggage up as there are a lot of stairs. The kitchen could be stacked better in regards to skillets/pots, cooking utensils and oven mitts. Difficult to get quick assistance from VACASA as it is a call center which then sends issues to local team. We had a hose with a hole in it and 2 clogged drains. Took a few calls to get someone out to fix it. Would be better to have local team information. Also, clarity on the beach access as you have to walk to public beach ramp which is not far but confusing once you arrive as how to get to the beach. Also the house is not part of the Villas so no pool access, which was fine for us as we are beach goers! All in all it was a wonderful week!

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
It was not bad by any means but the newer reviews would have helped warn me. For anyone on the edge:Pro’s: Great layout to the house for our family and huge living space on the top floor, great for a big group. Proximity to the beach was solid (not as good as the pictures showing a straight walk to the beach but still very close). Con’s: Biggest was that I felt cheated by the photos of a pool and straight beach access in the listing when I booked but reading reviews 2 weeks before our trip learned that was false advertising. I messaged Vacasa who said we DID have pool access, only to get a message back an hour later saying no again. No apology or explanation given for the false advertising. The other large issue was in the door code which was given to us 24 hrs pre check in, confirmed by text with Vacasa the next morning, and then did not work on check in. We had to call them again from the door to get the updated one that they decided to change last minute. Remaining Con’s for the house were more trivial but as a heads up- the internet is atrocious, cannot watch anything on the tvs or streaming. We were on hotspots all week. - There seems to be no noise-proofing in the house, we had a 3 yr old who woke up at 5:30 every day so the whole house woke up then (we even stuck extra pillows under our doors 2 floors down to no avail). - kitchen is very minimally stocked - at check in there was old underwear and half washed mats left in the house

Perfect Balance

My family really enjoyed this property, even though we were there during hurricane Debby. Great proximity to the beach, great views from the top balcony, and plenty of sleep space for our large group. So glad there was an elevator as we needed to get groceries to the top floor. Enough space that everyone had room to relax or get away as needed.

Good Luck with Vacasa - and bring everything you need.

This home is beautiful, spacious and clean, newly furnished and in a quiet community. The hot tub is nice. We enjoyed our vacation but overall felt a little disappointed in the accuracy of the listing photos and the fact that management communication and Vacasa service were disappointing. These were some of our issues with the place: 1. The check in process and door codes were a nightmare. We ended up with 2 separate (10 digit) door codes for the elevator entrance and stairs entrance. It took us 20 minutes to get in the home when we first arrived because door codes were not working properly. Frustrating as I saw this had been reported in a previous review and assumed it had been resolved. 2. When my husband asked if we had access to the pool (in the picture online), he was told by Vacasa representative that we “should have access” and to check with the front desk. The pool in the picture is a private pool for the home next door. So we definitely didn’t have access to that! And there is a community pool but also a sign saying our specific home did NOT have access to it but all the others did. So strange! And I’m not sure what “front desk” we were being referred to. It made no sense. 3. The listing photos are very misleading. It appears that the beach access is beside the home in the picture online with the pool. That is a neighboring private home and private beach access. Upon arrival we looked for any type of info on the home about where our beach access was located. There was no information at all about the property or community. We had to go exploring and finally found that we could walk down a ways past 5 homes to a public beach access. This is actually near the pool for the community (that we couldn’t use). The pictures are misleading. There is no pool for this home and you must use the public beach access. 4. Before our trip, my husband also asked if there was a hose for washing off sand or a shower outdoors because we were bringing our dog, Vacasa representative replied “NO there is not”. However upon arrival we found there is a shower and a hose. The hose had a huge hole in it so water barely trickled out. We had brough our own hose because we thought they didn’t have one, but the original hose could not be removed. Meanwhile we reported our remote control was missing for BR TV, A day later When the man brought the remote control for us to use from the other unit (duplex), he said he already knew about the leaking hose and we would just have to use our hose on the spigot under the other unit, which was fine until other unit became occupied later in the week. 5. Linens were provided but we had to make our own beds. Not very convenient if you arrive at bedtime. Just FYI. 6.The home had nothing in the way of guest comforts like salt, pepper, hand soap, only one kitchen towel etc and only one hot mitts. Also No grill. There is however a knife set, coffeemaker, blender, dishes, and a couple of pots and set of bowls.

Clean, lovely home

Home was clean, furniture was high end, no carpeting was a plus. Pet friendly made it even better. Elevator was a bonus, home was spotless.
