Not Like Other VRBOs We Rented
Suggest to owner that a checklist be left for whoever takes care of the VRBO.
The unit was “broom clean” and needs renovated. Kitchen cabinets look newer, but so much unusable junk in drawers — need to be emptied.
The refrigerator filter is expired, the one-day coffee supply was expired a full year. I ran dishes and glasses through the dishwasher to be sure they were clean. The bedroom rug was gross and needs replaced. The night light does not work, so bring your own if needed.
Bring kleenex, extra toilet paper, bar soap for shower (no grab bars), your own ground coffee + whatever you add.
Both remotes were required to operate the TV. No directions but we figured it out. Less tech-savvy folks would struggle.
The location of the unit was close to our kids’ outstanding VRBO and we spent most of our time there.
On a positive note, the VRBO had a nice view but no sun exposure. The large sun decks and poolside would provide plenty of space for sun worshippers. We didn’t use amenities, but they looked great: tennis and pickle ball courts very nice, club house with tables and game room, fitness equipment.
