Had a wonderful relaxing stay Dennis was an amazing host and responded very quickly when the hot water went out. The property is beautiful and the the beds were some of the most comfortable beds we have slept on at a rental property! Would definitely return here again!
We’ve had the pleasure of staying at this River House twice in one month, and it’s been incredible every time! The house is stunning and beautifully set in the forest, with an amazing wall of windows that immerses you in the lush surroundings. Great hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls are just steps away. The host was helpful and communicated perfectly throughout. We’d absolutely stay here again — a perfect retreat!
This was a really beautiful house and property. It served our family well as we were in town for a wedding. Comfortable beds, good communication with owner and fairytale setting!
Overall, our stay was wonderful. Dennis had a beautiful welcome basket that was much appreciated. The house has a great view and is very cozy. A great house with a great host. Highly recommend.

Handsome woodsy home, no safe walking options from doorstep
Interior of this home was handsome, immaculate. Kitchen was well-equiped. Common space and bedrooms generously-sized. Cathedral windows and ceiling in the common space were better than in the photos, really wonderful. Two disappointments. A river runs close by, 100’ from the back door, but was not accessible. No trail. On the other side of the property, beyond an 8 foot concrete wall, runs a two-lane narrow road with most traffic moving at 50 MPH. So no place to walk on foot around the woodsy setting. Easy to miss driveway, so use phone navigation, at least to start. No wifi service. Property manager did not provide door code until day of arrival, but then very helpful.
The house is beautiful. Such a nice and laid back property. Perfect place to unwind and relax. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything needed to enjoy my stay. Dennis was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.
Great space to come together and enjoy the company.
A great space where myself and a few other guys were all able to have their own space. We each had our own room but were able to come together in the living room/dining/kitchen. We spent the majority of our time at the big dining table playing board games and hanging out. Great up to date house and very easy to feel at home.
From the moment I booked the trip the communication with the host was incredible. The place is absolutely gorgeous and my family had a great time. The master bedroom upstairs is super spacious. Everything was very clean and the appliances all worked great. Id recommend this place to anyone.
Great house with big windows and an awesome view. The beds we’re comfortable and fit our group of seven just fine. The smell of the forest and river was amazing. Perfect place to relax.
Dennis was the most accommodating host. The house is on a prime slice of the Lewis river, with spectacular views and nice swimming hole. The house is brand new and I thank the owners for sharing this little slice of Heaven ❤️
My family decided to get together outside of one of our homes and it was fantastic. We were all present and played games and sang and danced and ate. The house is beautiful and comfortable. I can't wait to go back. We will be planning more short stay getaways for our family and friends at Dennis's place. He was so easy to reach and walked me though everything quickly and easily.
This house is absolutely amazing. Gorgeous views everything was updated. Had everything we needed to cook with and to be completely comfortable with. The location is amazing and the host Dennis is extremely accommodating. I would recommend this property to absolutely anybody that is looking for a forest retreat. The view from the front window overlooking the river is breathtaking. I’d give him six stars if I could.
Communication prior was perfect.
The welcome wine bottle was so sweet.
We cooked our first night in and just enjoyed ourselves and the view. Loved the big table and comfortable beds. Our only complaint was there was nowhere to hang our clothes. I assume because it’s a recent build, but no hangers or clothing rods made for a wrinkly weekend.
We would definitely stay again, we just will bring an iron.
Such a beautiful home. Dennis was an amazing host! Such a nice, peaceful, relaxing trip. The house was so clean and well equipped with beautiful views of the river. Looking forward to going back. Thank you so much Dennis!
