The condo (13S) was lovely and had everything we needed. The grounds and the view was great. The screened in patio was a great place to enjoy your breakfast or happy hour. As we had a car, it was very convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. Would definitely go back again.

This unit 13S was great and very comfortable only needs a recliner to make it feel like home. One issue with A/C but was resolved with Freon charge being low and fixed within a few hours. Corny and the staff was very helpful and friendly

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to Island House for the past 13 consecutive years and it has always been our highlight vacation of the year. However, this will be our last year staying at Island House because of the change in management, specifically one of the ladies in the front office. The decision was made not to let people swap units once the deposit was paid, so my family (we rent three to four units each year) went to the front office to try and plan next year, but our normal units were being renovated during the same time next year and we all wanted to stay in the same tower. We tried speaking with the front office about possible solutions and the total disregard and indifference we felt was very disappointing. Because we had to decide right there on the spot or lose our first right of refusal, we decided not to rebook. We called back to the office a couple of weeks later to try and rebook, but never received a return phone call. We have since booked at Jamaica Royal for next year and are very sad that we lost our favorite vacation spot.

Excellent location and a beautiful view

This was a lovely condo. Very clean. The lanai view was fabulous and I highly recommend staying there. Communication with Scott was easy and he was quick to respond. Only thing I would recommend is the twin beds are extremely hard and the adults were unable to get comfortable. Also a little dish soap would be nice but Scott is very clear on what is provided. Overall an excellent stay and we hope to go back.

From this unit the view of the water is unobstructed and you’re only a few hundred feet from stepping onto the beautiful sandy quartz beach! The furniture and decor in this unit are current, comfortable, and make for a relaxing vibe. The one thing that disappointed a bit were the dated kitchen appliances. The temperature in one part of the fridge was too cold which caused a slight problem. Otherwise, the kitchen is very well appointed with cookware etc. There’s an assigned covered parkingspace adjacent to the building. We visited in mid-October and the weather was perfect. Restaurants, grocery and other stores are only a couple of miles away. This was our second stay at Island House. We’d love to visit again.

From the start Scott and his associates made our stay enjoyable. The unit 13S was clean and better than we expected. The view spectacular, great interior and exterior spaces. When we had a small issue, Service was immediate. Although the condo is 2-3 miles to the village, we found the location accessible to major highways. The condo does not provide beach towels, and the washer dryer is shared with the other unit on the floor. Parking in the village is difficult and traffic heavy at times. We would definitely return. If you have a large group rent both units on the same floor.
