Lori was very responsive. The house was very clean and very eclectic. It worked out great for us having three levels. The location was actually perfect. North Conway was about 15 minutes away. Jackson Falls is beautiful and we went there multiple times. Nestlenook Farm is right around the corner for horseback riding, which was amazing. Close to restaurants, etc. highly recommend!

Perfect house for a summer getaway for my family of 4 and dog. The house setup was perfect with plenty of outdoor space with a fireplace, bocce court, and rocking chairs to take in the views of Black Mountain. Three levels of indoor living provided plenty of space for everyone . Its location is perfectly situated to access everything the White Mountains have to offer from hiking, swimming holes, fishing, golfing, and North Conway all within a short drive. Lori the host was very responsive throughout the trip.

Our expectations were met, and then some! The house is roomy, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and there's even a grill with easy access just steps from the kitchen. This house is nicely set-up in a way that makes it easy to hang out with your family and friends, which was what we were looking for. Communication from our host was great! The location is perfect for hikers, and only a short drive to North Conway for shoppers. I have no complaints, only praise for this property and the hosts. You can tell they love their home away from home, and I'm so thankful they're willing to share!

This weekend was for my family to gather together and ski. It was a perfect location for everyone to easily get to the mountain. And the views from the windows was fantastic! You can see the mountain! We walked to the pub for a few beers and music! The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with many small things so you didn’t need to worry about it. Great place!

Right out of the gate, our experience with Lori and Steve was outstanding. The communication and return contact was second to none. Their home in Jackson is beautiful, cozy, very clean and the decor was welcoming and interesting. Their home was bright and warm, the appliances and kitchen utensils were top shelf. The home is located within a 1 minute walk to Black Mountain. The house made the reunion weekend of life long nursing school pals a complete success. We all would like to rent again in the future with our grandkids.

Great Ski House

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property and Lori was a pleasure to work with! We loved the home, it’s sustainability and the beautiful surrounding landscaping. We also brought our pup, and Lori provided wonderful touches to making her stay wonderful too. This property is close to Jackson Falls, North Conway and Storyland. We loved our stay and will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful stay!

We spent a few days here with our 3 children. We had a great time! Location is great, house is clean. Lori was very responsive. We’ve already booked a trip for next summer. We went during a heat wave and the house stayed cool. Highly recommend this home.

We purchased the property of our dreams in 2006. We spent the next 2 years building our house and moved into it in 2008. We have been working on it ever since and it is most definitely a labor of love.

We pride ourselves in offering a unique and unforgettable experience to our guests. Most of our guests have returned many times over the past 10 years and consider it their second home, which is exactly how we want them to feel!

Our home is quite unique and one of the things our guests love about it. We designed and built the home with the effort and intent to minimize the impact on our beautiful natural environment as much as possible, both during the construction process and once living in it. The house was built with ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction. Basically, this means that the walls are one foot in mass, from the foundation to the roofline, consisting of recycled Styrofoam blocks filled with 6” of poured concrete. This construction not only makes the home virtually indestructible and allergen free (bacteria and mold cannot grow in this type of environment); it makes it extremely energy efficient, as the concrete mass keeps out the cold in the winter and the warmth in the summer. In addition, this type of construction greatly minimizes waste and the use of natural materials used in a conventional stick frame build.

We have never stopped working on improving our home over the years (and probably never will because we love working on it) and it is another thing our returning guests love because they always have a new surprise to enjoy when they arrive. We look forward to the opportunity to be your hosts and we are very pleased to answer any questions you may have about our home or Jackson.
