Property and house were beautiful, clean, and in working order. The owner/manager was very quick to respond when I had questions. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The campground that surrounded the house was also beautiful and the campers seemed like long term or owners and they were all very friendly. There were a few things that were not ideal. The tap water, although "ok" to drink and shower, was not a flavor anymore found palatable. I know that lake properties have a sulfur smell to the water sometimes, but I would have liked a warning to bring a case of drinking water. There was a Britta pitcher in the fridge, which was nice for coffee but took too long to refill to have 11 people drinking out of it. The private beach was not well maintained and we ended up using the campground beach (which is technically only for the campers). The grass was really overgrown, but I know it's been raining a lot lately too. The house sleeps 17 people, we had 11 in our party. The dining table seats 8 so we figured there would be folding chairs. There were 2 in the garage, unfortunately they were both broken so we used camp chairs instead. Kitchen was stocked well with all the appliances and kitchenware you could need. The sauna/shower is more cool looking that in actual functionality. The tub jets spit black stuff out and 5 people in our party could not figure out how to operate half the options of the shower. An instructional sheet would have been beneficial.
