RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck, so guests can read email, surf the Internet and soak up the Florida sun all at the same time!



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands #232 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

The room itself was clean and was well decorated with a beachy vibe. It was a perfect location for 2 people to spend a couple days at the beach with access to some good local restaurants . The property itself is a bit outdated but it’s hard to beat the location.

Quick weekend trip for my husbands birthday. We wanted to enjoy the beach since the hurricane did much damage by our home in Fort Myers. This was the perfect spot. Great location. Reasonably priced. Plenty of beach and pool equipment to use. Nice restaurants in the area as well.

Beautiful Getaway on the Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely efficiency. The rooms were sparkling clean, and well stocked with towels, beach towels, pillows and blankets. The pool was clean with well-maintained lounge chairs. Umbrellas, beach carts, boogie boards and beach chairs were available for our use free of charge. Best of all was the gorgeous beach and aqua blue gulf waters. Would highly recommend!

Lots of amenities at the resort and nearby. Due to the tropical storms from the fall of 2024 there was lots of landscaping not looking good but they were fixing it up. The shuffleboard area was not clean. Could use more beach tents especially during the summer when it’s really hot. Our tv was not working and maintenance was supposed to to fix it but they did not.

Fun as usual

Always enjoy staying at Silver Sands. Quaint and clean. Staff is helpful and attentive. The pool is great. The complex sits right on the beach. The beach is great and never overcrowded. Location is very close to several great restaurants and St. Armand Circle which is great for shopping and dining.

This condo is everything it was represented to be. Beautiful beach. Pool is very clean, warm and inviting. Condo is clean. It is an older unit, not a super luxurious feel, but very accommodating and comfortable. Location is great for walking, beachcombing, convenient to dining. Bed is very comfortable. Furthest unit from pool & beach BUT we loved it.

Older small unit without a lot of niceties. Pretty bare bones. We were given half of a sponge in the kitchen and a teeny tiny Palmolive. 2 bathroom wash clothes. The beach is so private and beautiful. The pool is kept in perfect condition and is a nice temperature. We had a nice stay. Margaret in the office was incredible.

However the geckos or small lizards had a home under the stove in this particluar room. No problem with lizards. Its the fecal matter that is the peoblem. Set up some sticky traps and catch them.
