Comfortable bed, great to have a washer and dryer in the unit, loved having a French Press for coffee, it was amazing! The location was great and felt safe. A few updates might be in order, but overall we had a great time in Waikiki!

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
When I first got there my pin to open the door was not working and it took about 40 minutes for the host to respond. Walked in it was pretty, looks like the pictures but the dishes were all dirty. There’s only AC in the bedroom so the rest of the apartment is very hot. Also killed a roach.

Thank you for your feedback, Stephanie. For future guests’ reference: the entry system offers both a working PIN code and a key, which operates the handle and deadbolt. I responded within about 15 minutes of your message, and both access options were functioning properly.
The listing clearly notes that the air conditioning is in the bedroom, and portable plug-in fans are provided for other areas, as shown in the photos.
This review is the first mention of any pest concern; no issues were ever reported during the stay or noted by housekeeping before or after. The home is professionally cleaned and inspected between each reservation.
I appreciate the feedback and remain committed to keeping the space exactly as shown in the photos and ensuring each guest’s comfort.
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you felt there were concerns during your stay. This guest did not report any issues regarding pests, cleanliness, or comfort at any point during her two-week visit, and our maintenance team found no evidence of a problem before or after her stay.
I take all guest experiences seriously and encourage anyone who books to communicate immediately through the VRBO platform so any concern can be resolved right away. My goal is always to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment, as reflected in my many positive reviews.
The pictures were accurate, and the interior design was on point—loved the green tile! The location was fantastic, just steps away from great food, markets, and shopping, or a quick Lyft to Ala Moana or Walmart. It kind of felt like a hotel with branded coffee bags, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner—a nice touch! The washer and dryer were a great bonus for doing a quick load of laundry. Being on a 7-day trip, we also really appreciated having a kitchenette for when we felt like eating in.Overall, it was a great experience. Minor feedback: the shower was gorgeous, but I do wish there was a simple curtain to keep water from splashing out. That said, I understand the aesthetic choice.I also wish there had been a standard coffee pot. It seems a previous guest may have tried to use the coffee press on the stove, but it still worked. There were instructions for a pour-over glass coffee maker, but I couldn't find it. Not a big deal—we made do! :)Aside from those small things, it was a great stay. Loved the self check-in, too! Just a heads-up: it was pouring rain when we arrived, and I got drenched trying to open the lockbox. So maybe check the weather and bring an umbrella just in case. Otherwise, I’d definitely book again!

Thank you so much, Roger, for your thoughtful and detailed review! I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed the location, design, and little touches like the branded coffee and toiletries; it means a lot to know those details made your stay more comfortable. I also really appreciate your kind feedback about the shower and coffee setup; that’s great insight, and I’ll take it into account for future improvements.
I’m glad you found check-in easy despite the rainy arrival; thank you for the helpful tip to future guests about checking the weather! It was a pleasure hosting you, and I’d love to welcome you back anytime you’re in Waikiki.
About the host
Hosted by Gidget
Aloha! I’m Gidget, a remote healthcare professional who loves creating peaceful, welcoming spaces for travelers from all over the world. I’ve poured a lot of heart into my Waikīkī condo so guests can feel at home the moment they arrive relaxed, comfortable, and cared for.
As a frequent traveler myself, I know how meaningful it is to find a space that’s spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and easy to settle into. Whether you’re here for work, rest, or a little adventure, I want your stay to feel seamless and stress free just like paradise should.
Why they chose this property
Waikīkī is truly one of a kind a blend of ocean breeze, tropical beauty, and world-class convenience. I fell in love with this neighborhood for its walkability and energy: you can sip coffee at Dean & Deluca in the morning, shop Luxury Row in the afternoon, and watch the sunset from the beach all within minutes of home.
Despite being in the heart of it all, the building sits in a peaceful pocket across from Luxury Row, surrounded by palm trees and island charm. It’s the perfect mix of resort feel and local rhythm.
What makes this property unique
My condo offers the kind of comfort and care you rarely find in Waikīkī: a quiet, secure space with a king bed, private lanai, full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, and AC. Every detail is designed for ease: beach gear, self check-in, and thoughtful touches for longer stays or remote work.
Guests love that it feels more like a home than a hotel suite warm, practical, and full of small luxuries. It’s perfect for couples, solo travelers, or pet owners wanting an authentic island experience without compromising comfort.
