Escape to your own private retreat at Cabin 13, a beautifully updated 1960s A-frame nestled on nearly 2 acres at the historic Ponderosa Lodge. Just one mile from downtown Glenwood Springs, this stylish cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience.

Stunning mountain views surround the Ponderosa Lodge (however, this cabin does not have views, per se). Retreat inside to enjoy a fully stocked kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, and all the cookware you need for a romantic dinner for two. Relax by the indoor gas fireplace or unwind on the comfortable Queen bed after a day of adventure.

The A-frame is super cute and exactly as listed. We had a slight problem with ants, but they were very prompt in getting it handled and cleaned. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Awful place. Unfortunately we woke up after the first night and found aunts all over the place. There were dozens all over the floor throughout the cabin, we found several in our bags, on the couch, and several in the bed. We contacted the host to let them know there were aunts everywhere. We said we weren’t really comfortable staying there anymore and wanted to checkout early and get a refund because of the aunts. They messaged back after hours and basically said that aunts are normal and that since we checked out early they would not refund us. They were super rude and super unhelpful. We stay in mountain towns often and in little cabins like that. A bug or two is, sure, normal. But dozens and dozens of aunts and in the bed! Absolutely not normal. Really didn’t appreciate the rudeness or the lack of even trying to help fix the situation. Would not recommend!

Birthday get away

There were a few issues with the furnace being turned on the day we got there but the owner was on it immediately. There were problems with the wifi and the owner had it resolved in the end. The place is very cute and charming. I would stay there again

Cute little property cabins and A frames. Ours was in the back corner and we had our own private back patio. Loved it! Furniture could be a little more sturdy and this unit could easily fit a king bed. Exterior and landscaping could use a face lift, but I know the property is being upgraded. Will come back in the future over staying at hotels, we love Glenwoo and come every year. Great location too!
