The beauty and outdoor activities of the Roaring Fork Valley attracted us in 1974 where we settled into the community of Carbondale. At that time we found property in the old core of town which now provides the ambiance and convenient walking access to restaurants, theater, shops, biking trails and bus stops just two blocks from Aria’s Loft. We hope you spend time enough in Carbondale and the surrounding river valleys and spectacular mountains to absorb the small town community vibe that attracted us so many years before. Check out the local calendar of events that will draw you into the local scene. Don’t miss the local arts scene, the summer farmer’s market and music in the park and in winter the festive downtown light decorations and ice skating rink. Travel to our surrounding communities of Glenwood Springs and soak in the Hot Springs, drive along the scenic Crystal River to the historic coal mining village of Redstone, visit Basalt on your way to Aspen for world class winter skiing or the summer classical music festival.
