If you're looking for a beautiful comfortable stay in Carbondale with all the amenities of a well appointed second home then this is the place for you. Beautiful apartment centrally located to Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Redstone and Marble. Very clean and extremely comfortable. The patio was an extra bonus. Mary and John were wonderful hosts.

Artists Loft -- Hidden Gem

The Artists Loft in Downtown Carbondale does not disappoint! The property itself is beautiful with its many special touches! Although located in town, it was very tranquil. The owners were terrific!! Highly recommended!!

We had been to many of the properties around Carbondale and this is by far the most exquisite. It is a beautiful space -- new, sleek, beautiful glass, comfortable, new. We so enjoyed our stay! Mary and John are so easy to work with. You will love your stay if you come!

perfect stay at the artists loft

The location in carbondale is unbeatable. Walking distance to everything along Main Street. Amazing views of mount Sopris from the living area and warm sunlight in the afternoon. The accommodations are spacious and well decorated. The kitchen is deluxe and well stocked with everything you need. The hosts are close by and available for any questions or needs. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a great stay.

Cream of the Crop

Mary and John are lovely hosts. I can’t promise this will happen for every guest, but as we pulled into our parking spot, they opened the front door of their studio to greet us and give an explanation of their home. They care a lot about the Carbondale community, and you’ll get to feel that as soon as you start to explore the town. Their home was well equipped for our stay, was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I hope for the chance to stay here again in future Carbondale visits.

This place made our whole family happy. The artist's touch is immediately apparent and delightful. It is thoughtfully equipped with the necessities. Wonderful place!! Highly recommended!!

Reading the reviews below there is absolutely nothing more I can add. They say it all about the artists loft in downtown Carbondale. My family just stayed there for a week and it was perfect. Although it is located smack-dab in the middle of town and is walking distance to just about everywhere, the loft feels very secluded and private. Mary and John are as nice as they can be. The place is perfectly appointed. I highly recommend it and will stay there again.

We love Carbondale! The downtown area is lovely and the Artist's Loft was ideally located for walking to everything. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our little grandson loved it and kept saying "this house is beautiful!" We all agreed. It's a short drive to many interesting places - Aspen, Basalt, Redstone, and Marble - and great hikes. I highly recommend The Artist's Loft!

Exceptional!

Mary and John are excellent. The pictures don't make the place justice. It is 100 times nicer and brighter. John carves glass at the studio downstairs and you can enjoy a wide sampling of his work in this studio. Great decor too. Plus the kitchen has everything you can think of, so you'll find yourself ready to cook or prepare your food.

Beautiful Private Loft with Walk-to-Downtown Accessibility

Perfectly appointed loft above Mary and John's working stained glass studio. The upstairs apartment is quiet and very private. Mary and John make themselves available promptly when needed. Located a block from downtown Carbondale, this apartment has easy access to coffee shops, boutiques, a movie theater, parks, bike path, restaurants and more. An attached private deck with table and rooftop/treetop views was our al fresco dining spot during the warmer months. Highly recommend!
