- Four-wheel drive and snow tires are required, and chains may be necessary in the winter months to access the property. Please be sure that every car and driver in your party is notified/aware of and meets these requirements in advance of arriving
- The hot tub is serviced every Monday morning
- Your safety matters. This property features 6 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is located over the garage facing the driveway, camera 2 is located on the end of the main building, facing the front of the house, camera 3 is a doorbell camera facing the front entry, camera 4 is located on the deck facing the front entry, camera 5 is located on the back of the house facing the field, and camera 6 is located on the side of the house facing the yard. Beautiful Home and Mountain Views

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain home. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with spices, coffee, and all the cooking pans and utensils our group of 9 needed. The location is perfect-far enough from town to truly feel like you're in the mountains, yet close enough to go into town . The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive with communication throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this home and would love to return. Our crew rates this home and the owners 5 stars!

House was a great fit for our 3 families totalling 11 people. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of space to spread out. Beautiful views and even saw 2 moose our last night. We had some snowy/icy weather which made 4 wheel drive/chains a must for the driveway! Would definitely stay again.

This house is absolutely stunning. It was perfect for our family gathering, plenty of rooms and places to spread out. We especially loved sitting out by the hot tub and fire feature. I will say the driveway is a rough one. We were excited that the listing mentioned RV parking acceptable. We were pulling a 24 foot travel trailer and I would suggest not attempting anything longer. There are a couple of very tight turns. Overall, it was worth it for that view and solitude. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an absolutely stunning property and it met our party’s needs perfectly. Very well equipped, high end, and spacious. The owner was excellent in responding to questions and even reached out personally prior to the trip. You definitely MUST have a 4WD vehicle with snow tires to safely access this home, so take that into consideration when booking, especially during ski season! This home is very private with amazing mountain views, hot tub, and awesome deck for apre ski and star gazing!! Highly recommend!!!

Sunlight Mtn House

The house was beautiful and we had no problems except getting to the house. There needs to be a much larger disclaimer by the owners in regards to the road/driveway leading to the home. The description should include pictures. We had appropriate vehicles and tires and were still unable to get to the home efficiently. One vehicle suffered damages from attempting to get to the home. The owner did know of the winter weather and, in instances such as this, should have his road much better maintained PRIOR to his guests arriving. Only after we called to discuss possible changing houses due to the road condition, did he have someone come to maintain the road.

Great Getaway w/ Family

Our family of four loved our stay during the week of Thanksgiving, it secluded in the mountains near Glenwood Springs but close enough to enjoy what the city has to offer, it had great views and helped us relax, it was tranquil, we enjoyed disconnecting from the norm. The cabin was cozy, and had everything we needed. This was our first trip to Colorado and we’d recommend this cabin. Thanks!

Cabin in the woods

We had a great Spring Break week at the cabin. It’s cozy and comfortable for a family of 4. We had a few minor issues throughout the week and the owner was extremely responsive and handled them quickly. We can’t wait to go back. It’s a beautiful place to vacation.

I visited the property the first weekend of February this year - the road was snow covered but perfectly fine to drive with a 4WD car. There have been some great updates since my last visit - new granite and fixtures in the kitchen, new fixtures in the bathroom as well. The cabin is somewhat isolated up the hillside which makes for great privacy and quiet which is exactly what I want! It snowed one morning and the man who plows the driveway was clearing the roads before 8:00am which was unexpected and fantastic. The cleaning crew does a great job, and they make sure the fridge has basics like butter, mayonnaise, sugar for coffee, etc. So happy with my visit and I can't wait to go back!

This beautiful off the grid cabin was amazing, it was well stocked with kitchen utensils, games, books. Also, the owner was more than helpful with any issues or questions that came up. We had a great experience and we love to stay again in the near future.

Beautiful Location

The house was very clean and beautiful! The only thing that could've been better was the house having a free more "staples " like butter. Syrup and coffee. Plan to bring all your own food!
