Summit Resort will be undergoing balcony repair work from September 2025 through 2026. During this time, there will be construction noise, balcony closure (dates are currently blocked for any scheduled balcony closures), scaffolding equipment and workers present. The final dates could be changed due to weather or any additional needs found during construction.

This Gulf Front furnished condo is conveniently located on the 4th floor in one of the largest and most popular resorts in Panama City Beach. The first welcome to your Panama City Beach vacation home is the beach-themed style, comfortable living room, and best of all – the view! This condo unit features 1 bedroom, 1.5 baths, fully equipped kitchen, balcony and incomparable view of the gulf waters. The open floor plan is perfect for quality time with family and friends. This condo accommodates 6 guests, and with all the amenities The Summit Beach Resort offers there will be something to please everyone in your party. The Summit has more amenities than most, featuring a gated entrance, 24 hour security, two beachside pools, exercise room, game room, saunas, beach store, jet ski rentals, poolside Tiki Bar, ice cream shop, gift shop, food mart, two outside hot tubs, inside hot tub, shuffleboard, lighted tennis courts, and a playground for the kids. Guest to pay resort $27 for pool bands.

Great view for the price!

The condo had the best view! Over all, we enjoyed our stay very much. Very convenient location. However, there was a dampness you could smell and feel.

Overall nice property and would choose again. Had to get maintenance to come fix 1 toilet and the other needs a new flapper as it would run some so it’s obviously leaking a little but nothing that caused an issue and maintenance came the next day to fix the one. Shower is large with very good pressure and bed was comfortable.

Great vacation condo

My bff and I have stayed at the Summit 7 times in different condos.This condo by far was the best setup, comfortable beds and linens provided. Best kitchen setup with plenty of pots and pans to use. Loved the shower! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay again!

Great Stay

The room was clean. Chairs were included which was a huge plus for someone with small children. Close drive to St. Andrews state park. Restraunts within walking distance!

Honeymoon

Best vacation ever, loved the condo. Was very clean , had an amazing view of the beautiful ocean.I can’t say enough about our stay. I’d go back there tomorrow if I could. Hopefully we’ll be able to stay there again very soon.

Nice place!

The only complaint I have is that the sheets had blood stains on the pullout couch and the bed in the master bedroom. Other than that it was a really nice place.

Our furniture was wet when we checked in. There was an existing problem with dampness because there were damp rid containers all over the condo. The floors stayed so wet and slick from moisture we were afraid to walk on the tile.I've stayed at the Summit for over 30 years and this was the absolute worst!!

Honeymoon

We stayed here in August 2023, me and my husband for our honeymoon. We loved the place and would stay here again! There were plenty of toiletries except garbage bags! Towels, wash cloths were enough. The only thing is I feel although there needed to be more cleaning done and updated equipment. Everything else was fantastic and close to the beach. It was the best vacation I’ve ever been to! There is a market on the first floor by the pool, they have fantastic food. The weather was amazing and no rain except one night which didn’t even matter because we were inside. The check in was easy and our room was ready 2 hours before 4pm, we entered the code and started our vacation! 😍🏖️☀️

Location! Location!

For our first visit to PCB, we were really happy! This condo is beautifully decorated with a nice beach theme. And the view! We spent a lot of time on the balcony having my morning coffee, eating meals, and just relaxing taking in the view and sound of the waves crashing. Beach service was a very welcome plus. Only downfall is the condo is not equipped with beach towels or a cooler to use. Clothes basket would be nice as well. The condo was clean upon arrival, except the rim of the bathtub obviously had not been cleaned. Makes you wonder if the tub was cleaned at all after the prior renter. But it wasn’t bad enough that we felt a need to contact management. And the finale…thank you for the late checkout that we were accommodated with due to us having a later flight out. We greatly appreciated that! Thank you for the fabulous stay in PCB!

It was okay

If your going to stay here make sure you bring your own blankets for the beds because none were provided. I messaged housekeeping within the first 24 hours asking about comforters because no where was it stated that the beds would only be made with sheets. Upon arrival there was trash under the dresser and old shoes under the bed. The fridge looks a little rough on the outside for the condo to be updated. There were people working on a room around us and it was annoying during our stay to hear that at 9am. The shower curtain has black spots on the clear liner not sure if it’s black mold or just dirty. If you want the chair that comes with the room, you have to get down there when they first open because it’s first come first serve so you may not be provided one. Other than those things the stay was not terrible and the summit was decent except there only being one elevator working.

I wanted to love it, but I didn’t.

I had such high hopes for this trip, the pictures were so beautiful and good reviews. Upon arrival, the room wasn’t deep cleaned. Just surface cleaned. There were items left behind by the previous renters under the bed (just shoes, but shows it wasn’t cleaned). The fridge is rusted, the door between the two bathrooms didn’t latch to close, there was thick black gunk in the shower. I assumed it was just stained grout, but a quick wipe of the rag showed that it was actually just not cleaned. The property had 2 towels and 2 wash cloths. The condo sleeps 6, so that seems a little sparse. I did message the housekeeping number that was left and they told me they’d try to get some more to us but made no promises, they never brought them for the 6 remaining days we were there. We ended up going to Walmart to buy our own. While the owner was perfectly nice to book thru, there was zero contact during our check-in, stay or check out. We enjoyed the location and the pool, the unit itself just needs some TLC and a better cleaning company.
