Perfect winter retreat
Our spring break trip to Estes and we found the perfect location. Amazing view of the mountains from the lodge. A bit outside Estes and right next to the National Park so we had easy access to beautiful hikes. Inside the place was perfect. A well stocked kitchen and comfortable living room with a fantastic fireplace. Very clean, well decorated, and in a great neighborhood. A huge winter storm hit the last day, but our host worked with us to make sure we were accommodated even though roads were snowy and flights were cancelled. Highly recommend this place.

Relaxing Cabin
We came to Estes with hiking as the #1 priority. This property gives fast access to RMNP without having to deal with Estes traffic, and you can also enter the park on foot through a nearby trail. It served our needs perfectly. On the rain/snow days, it provided a great view of the mountains while we enjoyed books, board games, and the fireplace. The riverside swings in the neighborhood park were also great. We'll be back!

Family Vacation
This was our first trip as a family to RMNP and this condo was perfect for our vacation. The location was very close to the park. We were comfortable with our family of 5 and grandparents. The house was well stocked and we made all our meals for the week in the kitchen. All the beds and furniture were very comfortable after coming home from hiking during the day. Grandma and Grandpa loved to sit on the deck in the afternoon and evening. The neighbors were so friendly. It is close to the Thompson River which was fun to walk down to and dip into. Estes Park is 5 minutes away which had grocery stores, delicious coffee houses, and ice cream shops! We are grateful to Anthony for the warm hospitality, advice for the area, and great communication. We hope to return in the future. We loved this condo and will always remember this special vacation!!

While vacationing in Estes Park for the last 23 years it has been our family's dream to 'own a piece of the Rockies'. Still Waters Lodge fulfilled that dream. While our piece of property is small it has a large history. There is a mineral claim on it from 1875. It was part of the Dunraven Estate. If you read the history of Estes Park you'll see how it all fits in.

This is where our family comes to both adventure and relax.

Why they chose this property

LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION. Still Waters Lodge is its own trail head...there is NO NEED to drive into Rocky Mountain National Park and find a trail head parking space. Still Waters Lodge is about 3.0 miles from the center of Estes Park. You will find that Still Waters Lodge the perfect balance for access to both RMNP and Estes Park without the noise, crowds, and congested seasonal parking.

What makes this property unique

Still Waters Lodge is a unique jumping off point for the whole family. You can walk to the YMCA of the Rockies and take full advantage of all the programs they have to offer (nominal membership may apply).

Still Waters Lodge is its own trail head. From the cabin's deck you can hike directly into Rocky Mountain National Park without having to drive into the park.
The cabin is very close to Estes Park yet it sits in a very quiet, family-friendly area without the town's summer crowds.
