The dogs, the kids, and the adults all enjoyed staying in this home! It was well stocked with everything we needed, and it was in a great location. The owner communicated very well. We would definitely love to stay here again!!

Magnolia Cottage is wonderfully ensconced in the beautiful trees on the property. The location was very convenient for us. We enjoyed the Audubon Sanctuary and the Indian Mounds especially. Everything was clean, the kitchen had everything you would need and we loved that it was pet friendly. The beds were very comfortable, and the decor was charming. There were lots of local restaurant options, but the Islander was our favorite. We look forward to our next trip to the island. Thank you Cherie!

I wanted to take my sister’s kids to a showing at the Saenger Theater, but if we’re gonna drive South, how about we make a trip of it and visit the beach? So we did. They’ve actually requested to go back sometime. Mrs. Cherie’s place was spacious and comfortable. We were just off the main road nestled in a nook of trees.The winning accommodation is that this place has 3 bathrooms. I saw many a place claiming to sleep 8 with only 2 bathrooms and a couple with only one. None of the bathrooms were weird either. I’ve stayed at just enough places now that I assume for there to be something up with the showers, but all of hers worked great.The point of interest that I was most worried about was sharing the twin bunk bed room with my nephews. I’m 40 and attempting sleep on a bunk bed, but I slept HARD. It was wonderful to wake up rested and not sore nor stiff.Oh, this place has a commercial ice maker. I have never stayed anywhere that has one, and it was awesome. Mrs. Cherie communicated clearly any and all information that I needed to know. She even answered some questions about the island after we arrived.If there is a better place to stay on the island, I don’t want to know about it. This place exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Mrs. Cherie.

Very clean, kitchen was equipped nicely, WiFi/internet and tv worked great, all the extras for the beach, bicycles etc were great and enjoyable. Very accessible to gas stations, food, shops and Ferry was exceptional.

Nice weekend getaway

We loved our stay! The house was clean, quiet, and had more than enough space for our family. It was a short drive to the beach and all the restaurants on Dauphin Island. We would love to return!

I was skeptical about every rating being perfect, but after staying here I also have to give it a perfect rating. The house was clean and the perfect size, Cheri was super responsive, and it was convenient to everything (but the beach is a drive, not a walk)

Cherie was an excellent host and very responsive. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of 4. We loved the proximity to the east end beach and restaurants. Would absolutely stay there again!
