Located on a sprawling ranch, this rural getaway is a ROCK-HOUNDERS HEAVEN! Multiple wet weather creeks crisscross the property surrounded by stunning rock formations and ancient bluffs. Responsible rock hunting and hiking are allowed. Boasting ensuite baths and sliding glass doors in every room, this 4-bedroom, 4-bath can accommodate both privacy and quality family time.

Just a short drive to Mason, Fredericksburg, Brady, London, the Llano River and the Eckert James River Bat Preserve.

Four bedrooms with four ensuite bathrooms. Bedrooms are at each corner with kitchen and living area in the center. Second house is detached.
Guest access
Access to both houses and 486 acres of hiking, biking and wandering. Also access to Recreation Center. This is shared only with one other STR on the property. The other Short Term Rental is 2 miles away.

We stayed at Cliffside with a group of 9 2 dogs and had plenty of room for all. We hit the pool and the trails daily and loved the rec room with all the games to play. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property, we hope to come back!

Wonderful escape from hustle and bustle

The Cliffside house was fantastic and Billy and his wife were wonderful host making sure we were all taken care of. Hill country is a beautiful place and this house puts you right in the middle with beautiful views all around. Great house for a multi family gathering with plenty of room for everyone. We highly recommend Cliffside and look forward to coming back.

Secluded resort

We stayed with a large group. The area is secluded enough to stargaze in peace. We Slept well and hung out in the pool every evening. Kitchen had all the tools needed to cook and the game room was great to entertain. The host was very communicative and helpful. We plan to make this a reoccurring location for this trip.

It was a perfect space for a family reunion with four bedrooms, just off an entertainment and kitchen area. It was beautiful surroundings with nice hiking trails. Having the recreation room at a distance was a nice place to visit, but was far enough away so it wouldn’t be disturbing when other people were using it. The host were gracious and had a servant attitude. Thank you to Billy, Cindy and Danniel. If we’re in that area again, we will definitely rebook Cliffside. We stayed in other places in the general vicinity and this was definitely the best.

Cliff side Hideaway

The rooms were spacious and the main room was perfect for our group to gather to eat and relax. The property was fun to explore and we enjoyed the recreation center and pool. Perfect way to cool off from the heat. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

Perfect!!

This was definitely one of the best vacations I've taken my family on. The house was spacious and clean. The property was absolutely beautiful. The rec center was a short walk and had everything you could think of to entertain the kids. We could not have asked for more and we will absolutely be back!!!

Great Stay Away from the Hustle

We loved this location. Secluded location with a recreation center was the perfect setting for our group! The pool was perfect on a hot summer night and the hiking had some amazing views and wildlife. Billy was a great host!! We will definitely be returning.

This was an amazing place! The pool and game room were great fun for the kids and there was nice hiking. Th setting is beautiful with high bluffs and the creeks had water when we came so there were frog songs at night and fireflies. The kids had a great time and the porch was lovely for relaxing on in the evening. If it rains, bring bug spray, just like for anywhere in the summer. The hosts were kind and friendly and everything was perfectly taken care of!

Great Escape

If you would like to get away from it all, this is the place! Just you and nature. The house was very clean, well stocked and comfortable beds. The rec room has many options to keep everyone busy. Not to mention the pool. Great host!
