Premier Glamping Experience on Lake Granbury! Pack your bags for your next getaway in this designer school bus converted into living quarters. Sleeps 4 guests. Well equipped with all amenities needed from coffee to cooking utensils. Equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, air fryer, coffee maker and more. The bus is temperature controlled for heat and A/C. A glamorous outdoor FULL bathroom provides a steaming rain shower, vanity, sink and residential style toilet. The bathroom area is covered and shielded from the elements but not temperature controlled. All linens, towels and pillows are provided. WiFi network available as well as a Smart TV. 2 outdoor living areas provide additional dining and seating, shade umbrellas and a bbq grill. 2 kayaks are provided to explore this unique area where Lake Granbury meets Long Creek and the Brazos River. Wildlife abounds - deer and many species of birds call this area home. Excellent personal retreat

The bus was the perfect size for my 4 day personal retreat. Very creatively and beautifully appointed. The location is amazing and the serene treed lot beside the lake was perfect for resetting and rejuvenation. The outdoor shower and baths room was secure and a nice experience. They have everything you need. The WiFi was strong so I could easily work remotely. I will be back.

Mommy and me trip!

My 7 year old daughter and I loved our stay. It was just what we needed to get away from our busy lives. We were tech free for most of the trip so the bus brought out lots of creative ways to interact. We played bus driver and passenger. The games inside and out of the bus were a plus! Uno is my fav! The bus had many amenities. We loved kayaking and sitting on the patio in the evening. Not to mention the gorgeous fruit trees on the property. The outdoor bathroom was fun and outdoorsy. This was definitely a great place to stay!

Nice Getaway

This was a very peaceful, laid back place to stay. The access to the lake is at the end of a canal. Therefore, boats are not in the area and do not disturb floating/swimming/kayaking in the lake. The rest of the property was clean and well kept. The outdoor bathroom was nice and the shower was amazing! The bus was so cute. The close-quarter living was fun! The queen bed was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room to sit for relaxing, watching tv or eating. All the appliances you could need for cooking and grilling are provided. I did make food ahead of time and warmed it in the microwave, so I didn’t have to cook much. The air conditioner kept the bus cool even in these hot July temps in Texas. We would definitely stay here again!

My name is Jenna and I host this property along with my husband, Ty. We have lived in Fort Worth / Granbury for almost 30 years. We LOVE this area! It has grown exponentially over the past few years and there are so many little "pockets" to explore. We put some of our favorites in the description but there is also a digital guidebook available when you check in that is FULL of amazing experiences all over the city!
I am an entrepreneur and in addition to designing and booking our properties, I also own a local retail store (Winton and Waits) located in a revitalized area of FW just south of downtown. Our luxury bath products are made locally as well as our jewelry/accessory lines - carried in retailers all over the US including Crate & Barrel, Francesca's and Free People. We have left some products for you to enjoy during your stay. You can also shop our goods locally in Granbury on the square at a shop called St Helens.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this spot on the lake! It is the location where Lake Granbury meets the Brazos River and Long Creek. It is remote but still accessible to town. Nothing will ever be built across the street from the house because the land is owned by a grass farm....country life at its best! The sunsets from the back porch are unreal. The sunrises from the front of the Skoolie window are equally breathtaking. You can spot deer and all species of birds out near the water. You can hear a family of owls hooting at night when you are out watching the stars. It is just a dreamy place and we immediately feel relaxed every time we pull up the drive. The inside has been professionally designed with a unique mural on the ceiling. This is not your ordinary camping experience....it is elevated "glamping" for sure! Every effort has been made to ensure you have a 5 star stay!
