15 Fisher's Paradise on Lake Saluda w Boat Ramp

Stay at Saluda Lake Landing in this unique lakefront property getaway that has a house, cafe, boat ramp, and dock. Perfect for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and more. Once home, relax and cook the days catch indoors and out. This property is partially public as we do get other customers for the cafe, dock, and boat ramp.
Please be aware that our employees will be around the property during normal working hours.

This charming old world property has everything you need for your rustic stay by the lake. From the moment you arrive transported to another, simpler time.

Roll up to the huge parking lot with all the water toys you can fit! If fishing is your jam, bring all that to the bass and catfish that await you.

People watching can be your thing as people pass through. They will be doing much of the same you will do…so maybe make a friend or two? We have customers who come to fish, launch from our boat ramp, and soak in the fresh lake air during daylight hours.

Our private neighborhood boat ramp accommodates pontoon, flat bottom fishing crafts, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.

Launch/fishing fees are included in your stay as well as a discount on your kayak/paddle board rentals.

Pets may be allowed only if the pet(s) has been approved by the Host. This is AFTER the guests submits or expresses to the Host their plan on how the pets will be taken care of while in the listing including pet size, age, and breed along with how often the pet will be left alone.

Guests have acces to all areas of the house except for 2 maid closets in the bathroom.

With management nearby we are available for help or anything that pops up during your stay.

Saluda Haven Haus is located right off White Horse Road about 10 minutes from Downtown Greenville. This is the ultimate location for quiet with the house being at the end of the road on Saluda Lake. The property has 6 boat slips and a boat ramp that is free to use as a rental guest.

It is highly recommended that you have your own form of transportation as most things are in driving distance

Launch fees are included in your stay.

We welcome pets in all of our units with a required nonrefundable pet deposit. The fee varies based on your pet's size, breed, age, length of stay, and how often your pet will be left alone. We are experienced travelers and have used VRBO on more than 1 occasion. We usually try to be gentle with our comments or criticisms. Not this time. Property was not available at advertised check-in time - waited 1 ½ hours while property was properly cleaned. Photos and write-up are not even close to reality (look at theirs – look at ours). Key negative features have been cleverly omitted and cropped from photos and words carefully used. Notice house is in the MIDDLE of a COMMERCIAL PUBLIC boat ramp/dock. Includes café/bar with party facilities right outside front steps. Lake views are essentially non-existent. According to neighbors, facility is often jammed and includes bands and other events. These facilities often attract young people there to play, party, play loud music, etc. Public boat ramps are usually NOISY and LOUD. Alcohol is often common and flowing. House gets unwelcome harassment from patrons (see Stop sign pic) that is VERY worrisome. Not sure if Security exists to protect renters. Sheriff’s dept had just left when we arrived. Inside, living room sofa was unusable due to heavy dog smells and hair. Living room is sunken - includes HUGE stepdown, which is unsafe. My wife fell heavily there due to poor lighting. Safety items such as safety strips and safety rails are not present. There is no tranquility/serenity available here. Always worried about unwanted people knocking on doors and/or harassing us. We would NEVER rent this property again. But… YOU DECIDE...

If you are looking for a charming place to stay on the lake, this is it! Dawn was amazing to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed and that our comfort and satisfaction were top priority. The house is a little unsuspecting from the outside, but the interior is beautifully appointed but minimalist. They are in the process of opening a little cafe and they rent kayaks and paddleboards right on site! I can't say enough to describe what a little gem this place is!

Perfect little getaway

Finding a place to rent that is pet friendly can be difficult and in the past I have had to settle for not so great accommodations in order to bring my dog on vacation with me. This stay does not fall into that at all. The pet fee was very reasonable and the house was great. It's close enough to everything but tucked far enough away that it's a very relaxing environment. It's located perfectly between downtown Greenville, Travelers Rest and Easley so anything you want to do is only a short drive away. The house itself is great, it feels so big inside and there was more than enough room for my family. It snowed during our stay, so we did not attempt anything on the lake, but we did see several people taking snowy kayak trips. The host provided all the info we could need for our trip before our arrival and luckily nothing came up for us to need assistance but they were in contact with us throughout our stay so we were not worried about the what ifs. We look forward to staying here again and won't stay elsewhere unless this place is unavailable when we visit again.

Good spot for family.

Overall it was good. There could have been some clarifying statements. My disclaimer is that they are working on the property so some things might be upgraded and changed now from when we visited. First, it’s not a private dock. The public came and went. Most people were nice but kinda weird to have random people pulling up right outside all the time. The only time we had an issue was Saturday night with some late night fishers. There was a lot of trash as the cans were overflowing with windy conditions. I think the owners are also buying the bait store and rest of the property. It would be ideal if it was all private. House was nice, they are upgrading some things. Neighborhood was older but nice. That side of town is a little rough and older as you drive around. My kid had fun fishing off the dock and downtown is 20 min away. Kayaking would be fun in warmer weather. I will probably try again when everything is remodeled and all one property.

Very clean, comfortable home with all the amenities needed for your stay. Lovely view of Saluda Lake. Especially good for boaters and fishermen with the dock right there. A cafe is also on the premises and seemed popular. We didn’t get a chance to eat there, but there’s outdoor dining to watch the sun set on the lake.
