This new construction home features all the modern conveniences of home with rustic mountain charm. This smart home provides keyless entry with codes changed after each guest for added safety. Reliable wifi throughout the home and smart TV's for you to stream your favorite movies and programming. YouTube TV provided. All beds feature highly rated memory foam mattresses. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking essentials. There is a mess free electric fireplace in the living room. The outdoor covered pavilion has a wood burning fireplace (firewood not provided) perfect for making s'mores and listening to the sounds of the river. Located on one of the most popular areas for fly fishing. Pack your fishing poles! Hot tub is adjacent to the pavilion. Hot tub fee can be removed if you do not with to use it.

If you are looking for a home with a beautiful view without the winding, steep roads you often find in mountain areas, this is the place for you. While this home sits on a private lot with no adjacent neighbors, please be advised that there is road noise from South River Road (especially during the day). Please also note that the loft bedroom is open to the living area below.

Wonderful

We spent five days at the cottage and it was outstanding. The weather was ideal and the fishing was great. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It couldn’t have been better. This is our second stay there and we will be sure to return. Without question five stars!

Wonderful

The house was wonderful, clean, comfortable and new. Everything worked. And, for three fishermen, the fishing was as outstanding as the house and the house was in a perfect location right on some of the best stretches of the river.

Our stay

The property is nice and clean. The only thing that was not clean was all the spider webs on the front porch. The home is beautiful. It does have some draw backs. The house is for six people however the beautiful, large front porch only had two chairs. The fireplace area away from the front porch, only had sitting for four. Our family of six enjoys the outdoors but there was no where for all six of us to hang out together . The owners should really add several nice rocking chairs to the front porch so all 6 guests can hang out together. Lastly, there was no propene in the tank of our grill and there was little firewood provided for our stay. Our first night, we tried to grill steaks; well they did not get cooked because the propane tank was empty. We were told upon reporting this that we had to fill the propane tank ourselves. Also, we were told that if we wanted firewood to go to Lowes. This was very disappointing. We came to relax , not to purchase items needed for the home. Also, please note, you have to cross the road to get to the river. The road is extremely busy!! I was in fear the whole time of my 14 year old teens crossing to go fishing. The public does not obey the speed limit. Without, these things; the house is beautiful and clean. The owner was gracious enough to let us check in several hours early.

Great Place

The place was perfect size, had everything we needed and the best thing bout it was the outdoor pavilion that looked over the tuck. Great place to hang out after a day of fishing on the river

I am an alum of Western Carolina University so my love for this area goes way back. It was always a dream of mine to have a place on the "Tuck" and I am happy to be able to share it with others who will hopefully enjoy it as much as I do.
