The home is historical and lovely and worked very well for our group when we were visiting Kalispell. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It has a great location near the center of town and the host was an excellent communicator. Would definitely stay again!

This is such a cute and comfy place, perfectly located in a nice old neighborhood and very close to downtown. We especially enjoyed the hammock and parking out back. We'd happily return the next time we're in the area!

wonderful home for a stay in Kalispell

Weekend getaway

Jenny was a wonderful host and incredibly helpful with our booking. She stayed in contact leading up to our trip to help make sure it was a success. The home was wonderful, plenty of space for five of us to feel like we could hang out comfortably and enjoy each others company. The neighborhood is precious and we loved our morning walks to a nearby bakery. I’d absolutely recommend this booking and would stay again!

Beautiful and comfortable home in cozy neighborhood

We loved our stay at the historic Simpson house. The location and neighborhood were excellent- close proximity to GNP or any other day trips we wanted to take and lots of great amenities in downtown Kalispell. We were a group of 4 adults with a baby and the house was comfortable, well stocked, and clean. The pack n play, high chairs, and vintage toys were so thoughtful! We would definitely recommend this rental to other families.

This home was amazing! They have renovated but kept everything so historically appropriate. Such a warm and inviting home. We loved staying here. The only quirky thing is that the people staying in the extra bedrooms did have to come downstairs for their bathroom. But our guests didn’t seem to mind at all. We loved it here. Close to everything in Kalispell, beautiful porch, comfortable beds and furniture throughout. Fabulous!

Yes, due to the preservation of the old home, and not wanting to tear apart walls to make a new bathroom upstairs, as you mentioned, there is one bathroom upstairs in the master bedroom and one main bathroom downstairs on the main level. This is a feature that is listed on our VRBO house listing information for guests to read beforehand. Perfect place for a get-together

My siblings, from all over the country, came to visit my grandmother. It was a perfect spot for us (and just blocks from my grandmother's old house). Main Street was within walking distance and had lots of restaurant and craft brewery options. The house is BEAUTIFULLY renovated and had everything we needed for our stay. Jenny was quick with communication and attentive to whatever we needed. Will stay again when we come back.

Kalispell

The historic home is very nicely remodeled. We found the location to be excellent for all of our activities. The owners have put a lot of effort into making it a very comfortable place to stay. The home does not have central air conditioning but there is a ductless air conditioner upstairs and lots of fans. I would stay there again on our next visit to Kalispell.

Perfect Stay

Would 100% stay here again. We stayed with 8 of us (4 kids, 4 adults), visiting for a family memorial and then starting off a road trip back to California. The home is very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything you need in both the kitchen and bath. I appreciated things being labeled so that we could easily communicate to the kids the rules of the house. Thank you!!!

We live in Kalispell. We booked the historic Simpson house for 5 nights for a group of 4 visitors, the executive board of the Haiti Rehab Foundation, HRF, for their annual retreat (as all of them live in different parts of the country). It was an excellent choice. The host was available for several exchanges before the visit: for instance, for me to better understand how many private sleeping spaces there were for guests who were coming as individuals, not as couples. (There are four rooms with doors that close, for sleeping. For families, where sharing rooms is comfortable, the number of guests would go up. ) The guests decided on how to share the bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms were plenty for four people. The host was available for our one or two questions during the visit, and for a short discussion afterwards about what should stay in the fridge etc. (Answer, condiments that were already in the fridge when our group arrived.) The house was just as advertised (photos were helpful, with descriptions, which were accurate). It was a hot week (July) but the house was cool: with the interior doors open, the AC cooled all the rooms down. The house gave the sense of being in a beautifully maintained old-fashioned space. We were easily able to provide a balance of great Montana outings versus quiet meeting times. During the 5 days we saw a rodeo, took a full-day Glacier Institute tour, swam in the lake, went to church on Sunday in Bigfork, ate out a few times, and met!
