My partner and I stayed for a weekend and we loved our stay! It was everything we pictured and more! Everything you see in pictures is what you get. It’s super close to so many cute little restaurants, shops, coffee shops, etc. If you’re looking for a stay that’s not too far from San Francisco, I’d definitely recommend!
This stay is what I expected. 2 clean bedrooms, laundry, and full kitchen in a nice town. The little breakfast cafe in town is the absolute best. Fresh donuts, good coffee and good food at a good price. We went there every morning. It was a convenient stay. I’d stay there again.
The Chula Vista apartment was everything we needed for our trip to the Bay Area. Perfectly located - we were able to access public transportation to get to the City and Levi Stadium, leisurely walks to nearby stores and restaurants, and it was easy for delivery drivers to find. As far as comfort, the apartment really did feel like a home vs. a hotel. Our family of four, including two teenage boys, were very comfortable. Most important, though, the hosts were easy to communicate with and always willing to help throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this rental for those who are looking for accessibility, comfort, space, and value.
The house was great. Perfect size for 2 adults and 1-2 kids. Walgreens, coffee shops, restaurants and more are walkable. Owners/property managers EXTREMELY responsive. 20 minute uber to SF. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was very clean and has great facilities. Lovely heating and nice to have a washing machine and dryer. It is located in an area with plenty of dining options. Drawback if you have a large car and neighbour is parked in their driveway, you will have to park on the street which may be on the next block. The pull out bed for the fifth person is not comfortable. The pilot light went out on the gas hot water system and we had no hot water for a day. We managed to fix it ourselves.
This was the second time staying at this VRBO. The property managers are very responsive, which I appreciate. The place was clean and ready for my family. However, this residence doesn’t have cable so you have to bring your own tv account or watch antenna TV, which I don’t mind… if the internet speed is up to par, but it’s not. Using Speedtest.net, my speed was 12 mb/s. Work took me longer than it should have and WiFi TV was non existent. Internet now is a need and should be high speed. Also, I was locked out of the premises at 8am on my last day, when check out time was 11. They did reset it after I said something, but I’m a tech guy and know how things work. We got a later start after this inconvenience. I love this town. This was the first time we went downtown to the Apple Store and other shops. The town is really nice to walk around in.
This place is just off Broadway, which makes it convenient to a small market, a pharmacy, a great wine store and several good restaurants. The place is fine, missing some things like a dishwasher, but has good heat (it can get cold in B'game in winter), other essential appliances. We found it easy to cook in. There is parking, but it's hard to back out because of greenery on the sides. There was construction next door and a call or two from the manager about needing to get to something or for us to move our car, but it wasn't onerous. We couldn't get the Keurig to work but there was another coffee maker. Need some kitchen towels for drying dishes and a few more bowls. Nice not having anyone above you, and also to have a washer & dryer. Overall, a good stay.
