Property accomodated our family well-spacious and clean. If you plan on preparing meals at property there is more than the average cookware, but lacking in cooking/serving utensils and serving bowls. Property did not supply washcloths.
The pictures do not show the exterior. The property is located in what felt like a very sketchy part of town. It was three doors down from a vacant motel. The overall exterior upkeep was poor. Steps and porche required painting, as the paint was chipped so badly. The front had not been cleaned in a long time; you could see visible dirt. There were nine plug-in air diffusers in a small 1,000-square-foot space because they were trying to cover up the extreme dog urine smell that was baked into the carpets. The carpets were so worn and filthy. The property manager claimed they had just been cleaned; if that were true, the cleaning was not done by professionals. As I told her, you cannot clean carpets in such bad condition; they need to be replaced. The linens smelled like they had been in a locker room. The property manager claimed they had just come out of the bedding bag, which is impossible. The walls were dirty. The bedrooms in the basement, which they do not show, are very small and have low ceilings. The lighting was not good, and ventilation was poor. The air conditioner was working very subpar; it took hours to get it four degrees cooler. The neighbor was creepy as he watched our every move. We asked for our money back as we left, because who would stay in a filthy place where you felt unsafe and it was hot? The property manager sent me photos of the carpet. But never addressed any of our other concerns. I tried uploading videos but haven't been able to.
This property is just perfect! We were attending a series of concerts at Temple Square. The location was unbeatable. Direct shot to Temple Square. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. Close to shopping, restaurants, easy freeway access.

Sketchy Neighborhood
Cottage was very clean, tastefully decorated, and modern with great security and entertainment systems. Some of the furnishings were lower quality. Downstairs ceiling is very low and there is a considerable difference in temperature from upstairs. While the location is central to all SLC attractions, the neighborhood is definitely not a place to bring your children. Backyard lawn overgrown. Many vagrants on the block. Parties two houses down kept us awake until 2am. Overall, it wasn't the worst place we've ever stayed, but we likely would not stay here again.
Check in was fine, good instructions. However after check in we left the house and when we returned the touch pad wasn’t working. Thought ok fine let’s call the property manager to see how we can get into the house. Manger was super rude, seemed like he was being inconvenienced by our call. He stated he had over 600 clients he had to deal with “not just us” we tried to reassure him we were not mad we just wanted a solution on how we could get in the house. He proceeded to raise his voice and act very unprofessional. A locksmith was called after we suggested it and we were able to get back into the house but we were shocked at the response we got
Property managers were very responsive and resolved any and all issues kindly and professionally. Check in was a breeze and the couple of issues we had were quickly looked at and taken care of either that same day or the following day.
