This is an excellent VRBO and we would certainly return. Beautuful house, well appointed, and easy check in and out. A real plus that's not listed, the TriMet stops literally outside the door of the house. Made it very easy to get around town and even better, to and from the airport for 5, what a deal!
Our recent stay here was great. The rooms themselves were incredibly spacious, providing ample space for our group to spread out and relax. A major highlight was that everyone in our party was able to have their own private room. Everyone wanted to stay longer.
Our team of 5 made a trip to Portland for a work event and team development. This home was a perfect place for us to have access to everything in the city while also having a home base for team connection, debrief space, and rest.
Not impressive from outside, but very comfortable and nicely furnished inside. Outdoor patios available. Beds very comfortable. Location close to downtown and streetcar. Beautiful rugs and accessories throughout the house. It met all our needs.
An absolutely stunning, spacious, welcoming, clean, impeccably equipped, charming home full of character and comfort! I wish it were mine! THE best rental home we've ever stayed in. The host is FABULOUS! I give this listing an 11/10!
Great location. Walk to everything. Restaurants/ PSU gym. My daughter's dorm was 2.min walking to the house. The house was 8min. To the gym. Had my mother in-law /my son/all 3 daughters.
Our family (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 seniors) had a wonderful stay in Portland. The house is like the TARDIS, bigger on the inside than the outside. And having a parking spot was very convenient. We also enjoyed having a patio and a balcony.
The kitchen was well stocked, there were spices in the pantry, paper products, etc. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in all bathrooms. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Check out the food trucks a block from the house. Great selection of food.
Our party of 5 (3 adults 2 teens) stayed here for 4 nights over the July 4th holiday. House was spacious and well located. Kitchen was well appointed and bedrooms were all nice. There were nice touches like places to put luggage and clothes, which is sometimes limited in rentals. We were in Portland during a heat and house was very comfortable. We loved the oasis on the back porch- lilacs were in bloom and we enjoyed all our morning coffee out there. Food trucks right around corner were super convenient. It was a 5 minute walk to PSU and about 20 minutes to waterfront park where music show was located. Public transit is really good so we did not need to rent car. Like every place we’ve stayed in a city center, the house does get alot of noise (traffic) but after the first night it was not too much of a problem as you get used to it. We would definitely stay there again.
Stayed here with some friends for a 'hang out'weekend in Portland, and the space was ideal for us. One of my friends made the connection to 'Up', where this quaint looking house stubbornly hung on as the city grew up around it.
It is conveniently located. Uber's to everywhere were in the $12-14 range. Check out process was also relatively pain free as far as minimal cleaning expectations.
Plenty of space inside. The kitchen seemed decent, and there is a full set of china available if you wanted to spend a holiday or something in town and host a nice dinner.
The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was that the listing does not make it clear that this rental is half of a duplex. My friends and I were out more than we were in, so it didnt really bother us, but there is a shared wall, so...something to keep in mind.
Beautiful and thoughtful, well equipped. Great location. Nearby trolley only woke up one person but not really too loud and earplugs provided. Would stay again!
We had a great time. Four golfers in our 50's. Great place. Clean and well maintained. Close to campus so it was crawling with food options. Easy check-in / check-out. Thanks for a nice stay.
A group of colleagues and I rented this property in connection with two conferences, which were held at the conference centre on the other side of the river. The property was an excellent choice. It's huge (compared to my apartment, at least), very well equipped, and spick-and-span. It's also in a great location. It's a short walk to Pioneer Square and an even shorter walk to the nearest tram stop. Additionally, the owner was very helpful. I will definitely try to rent the property again if I return to Portland. Highly recommended.
