Helga’s cabin is cozy and warm and welcoming! From coffee on the porch to a hike to the nearby Bruarfoss(Don’t miss this!) it was a homey and well-situated landing pad for us. The only note is that the water is very sulfury, and if you are sensitive to it, you may want to bring drinking water and water for cooking and brushing teeth. We took some empty bottles to a friend’s house nearby and just filled up there.

Fantastic!!!

House is in a fantastic location to see most of Southwest Iceland. On the golden circle, close for a day trip to Vik and Borgarnese, House was so peaceful, extremely clean, bed very comfortable and nothing more relaxing then sitting in a hot tub after a long day of hiking. Would highly recommend!!!!
