About this property

For True Nature Lovers

Like the idea of staying in a tiny home on a quiet Lake Huron bay? Enjoy crossing the Mackinac Bridge? Love da U.P.? Dig big-sky sunsets and stargazing? Could use a “real nature” escape to reset and find fresh perspective? Curious how a composting toilet works? If yes to any of these, read on.

Kayaks/SUPs/Gravel or Fat Tire Bike rental available with free delivery and pickup from a local outfitter.

**NOTE: We have recently learned that for the rest of this season we’re going to be stuck with a 42 gallon holding tank for your waste water which will require our guests to somewhat conserve water during their stays here (another part of the adventure?).

We’ll provide abundant drinking water by the gallons, but showering, washing dishes, etc. will be asked to be smart about, (in other words - shorter showers, don't run water while brushing your teeth, wash dishes efficiently, etc). Two people for 2-3 nights shouldn't notice much of an inconvenience, if any, but we want you to know about this new development so you can make an informed decision when booking.

Weekend Get Away
The location and property were just as described. Dave is awesome and replied right away to any questions we had. The property is very quiet and relaxing if you are looking for that. The tiny house is great and extremely updated and clean. We did take the nature walk that Dave told us about and it was a great trail. We will be recommending this spot to a few of our friends to visit for sure. Can't wait to go back in the future! Thanks Jason and Kelly

Relaxing getaway!
The tiny home was clean, peaceful, and the perfect location for an outdoor getaway! It is on a secluded cove with a shared beach area and fire pit. Dave was a fantastic host and allowed me to check in early when the home was ready. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy and secluded get away!

Born and raised in northern Michigan, we've been coming to this property since we were hatched. With a vacant lot next to our family cabin, we thought it made sense to add this tiny home on wheels so that more people could enjoy this amazing natural area.

Why they chose this property

The best of both worlds. Smack dab in the middle of nature with St. Martins Bay to the west of you and thousands of acres of public forest trails to the east.

What makes this property unique

Keep your nature visit simple by glamping in this adorable and sturdy abode with heat, AC, window views all around, and indoor running water (hot too!). Hike the old growth cedar forest two-tracks across the road to Search Bay or check out the views of Mackinac Island and the Mackinaw Bridge in the distance from the right vantage point. Wild flowers, butterflies, birds and other wildlife abound from spring to fall in all their different stages.
