WinklerWald- 6 BR family retreat

Beautiful secluded log cabin surrounded by a gorgeous forest view. The 3500 square foot log cabin comfortably sleeps 16 people with 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms! The cabin is located less than a mile from Berlin Lake with all the amenities a family or large group would want in a vacation property. Public access to Berlin Lake is a short walk, less than a mile away, great for kayaking and fishing. Enjoy the outdoors on any of the 3 porches, play games on the lawn, or relax in the evening around the fire pit in our biergarten.
I am available by phone and text. Emails are not actively monitored on weekends. Can also arrange to drop in via the Echo in the kitchen.
Located in Atwater, Ohio, just a mile from Berlin Lake, a perfect place for fishing and kayaking; a few miles from Alliance Ohio, home of the University of Mount Union. Canton and the Football Hall of Fame are only 25 minutes away. There are also quite a few breweries and wineries nearby. Akron and Youngstown are less than 30 minutes away.
You can walk to Berlin Lake and its public access point which is less than a mile away. Berlin Lake is connected to Deerfield Reservoir which has walking and riding trails. Plenty of other activities are within a short drive.
A few items about our family retreat.
- the cabin uses well water. It has been tested safe for everything; drinking, cooking, washing, and bathing. There is a common sulfur/egg smell. I would consider it slight. Others are more sensitive. No iron stains. There is a whole house water conditioner so the water is quite 'soft'. We do have a reverse osmosis filter on a water tap at the sink and the refrigerator water/ice.
- there will be mosquitos in the summertime. We'll have spray here, and we'll treat the Biergarten a few times each year.
