Relax with the whole family at this Corolla getaway! Just north of the Town of Duck and just south of where the Wild Horses roam! There are so many possibilities for gathering and entertaining, in and outside, of this home! WhaleSound is an older home that was recently updated so that we may offer this space to you and yours to make many memories! Situated on a large lot, just a short flat walk to the beach, convenient to all the attractions, shopping, and restaurants of the northern beaches!
The space
Ocean views and plenty of room to entertain at this Whalehead 5 bedroom, 5 bath private vacation home. The property features two family rooms (one on the top floor with ocean views), midlevel kitchen and bedrooms, ground level with game room, and a terrific pool area. Lots of decking for those desiring sun and many shaded areas under the home to retreat to including an outdoor shower! The upper level has beamed cathedral ceilings, large panoramic windows, an open family room and dining area with a large bar/ island- perfect for entertaining. The adjacent outside deck is enormous! There are also two large bedrooms and a full hall bath. The mid level is truly the heart of this home. An efficient galley kitchen opens to the breakfast nook and flows into the other family room which has covered deck access. The large primary en suite is on this level with two additional guestrooms and two more full bathrooms. The ground floor is comprised of a large game room with a wet bar and a full bathroom. The backyard is has an 11'x30’ pool and extensive deck space all around. Set up for lounging in the sun and picnicking, this area is ideal for everyone to spread out and soak up the OBX sunshine.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Gather used towels Leave in a pile in hamper or bathroom. Start a load of towels if you would like - not a request! Leave beds alone - do not strip!
Throw trash away Remove all trash from house (kitchen, bathroom, etc) place in dumpster outside of house. Make sure all dishes are clean, dry and put away.
Turn all lights off. Set AC to 74 in summer and Heat to 68 in the winter at departure. Lock Up Lock all doors & windows at your departure. If a key was used please

Great House

Lots of rooms (like a maze a bit….in a good way) and short walk to the beach. Great pool, decks and bonus game area. Wonderful trip with no issues with our stay.
