Excellent Escape Into Northern MN

Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!

See what its like to set by the shore and watch the sun go down. Listen to the Loon's on the lake and watch for the Northern Lights to light up the sky. Rustic log cabins that are on of a kind, fully furnished.
