No refunds for issues outside host's control i.e. weather, natural disasters, etc. Starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels provided.

Perfect place for a getaway!

House was clean and all the amenities were perfect. Only downside to staying in late fall/winter is the lack of leaves on trees, so you can see and hear any guests around you. That didn't detract from our stay, but it is one thing to be aware of.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful!!!! The bed was super comfortable. We have nothing negative to say about the cabin itself with the exception of the lack of kitchen accessories. We did have to go in to town and purchase baking pans, pot holders, sponges and the like but other than that, everything was stunning. If we were to give any advice to future renters it would be to be aware of the roads leading to the cabin. They are gravel and full of ruts and holes. Low riding vehicles may encounter areas of dragging if they are not careful. 5 Stars for the cabin but only 3 for the roads.

We are Wayne and Allison. Our cabin Intimate Encounter was built in 2022. We were both born and raised in small Oklahoma towns. Over the past several years we have discovered and fallen in love with Hochatown. It is one of our favorite vacation destinations, either with our family or as a romantic getaway. This cabin is our first purchase of a short term rental property and we hope you love it was much as we do! In addition to this we have also recently purchased a beach house in Crystal Beach TX which can also be found on VRBO at https://www.vrbo.com/3458851

Why they chose this property

This cabin is the perfect luxury getaway for couples! The floor plan is open and comfortable eliminating the cramped feel of smaller cabins or hotel rooms. After an exciting day of adventure at the lake or around town, relax and unwind in front of one of the two fireplaces, or rest your tired muscles in the hot tub. There are three ROKU TVs, one in the bedroom living room, and outdoor above the fireplace. Stream your favorite movies, shows, or music from anywhere in the house. The fire pit has 4 Adirondack chairs to relax in while enjoying your favorite wine or roasting marshmallows. You'll find the large soaking tub very soothing, or jump in the shower designed for two! With the king size bed, you'll be fully rested for the next day's adventure, or be lazy and sleep in well past your alarm clock!
