House of TarTar is our prince frog logo for guests to remember our location. Just 25 minutes from Lake Michigan and Dunes National Park. An hour to Chicago via transportation downtown. There are multiple free parking spots off the main street to this property. Ramp to back entrance of home.

House was beautiful and set up nicely- great location for us coming into town to visit several family members that live in town so we were close to everything including the charming downtown!! Sitting in the hot tub while watching snow lightly falling was an incredible bonus!

The ramp worked awesome for my large power wheelchair. The first floor was very accessible. The bedrooms on the second floor were a bit far from the bathroom in the basement but we managed.

The house was clean, comfy, and charming. Perfect for our home base as we visited several friends after moving away from Valparaiso a couple of years ago. Some accessibility features were very helpful after a recent injury. This is a great spot for a visit to Valpo. Highly recommended.

Great Get-a-way

We enjoyed everything about the property. It was quiet and comfortable. However, too hot to use the hot tub haha. The amenities were great. We got to enjoy the Dunes State Park along with some local food and shops. 10/10 would recommend their place to anyone!

Perfect Valparaiso Spot

The house was actually better than described. More than enough room to fit everyone, and more than normal extras. There was a highchair, and several items that the little one could play with. They provided all the extras such as toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags which are normally things we needed to buy. We were able to get deliveries quickly from Walmart and door dash. The hot tub was amazing and perfect to relax in. The 2nd bathroom came in handy with a tub for the little one to play in.

Very comfortable

This home is very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and all of the bedrooms had large closets. Beds are comfortable. Living room has ample seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The hosts were easy to communicate with via text. Would stay again!
