The following is an overview of the various spaces on the property-

MAIN HOUSE: 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and Chef's Kitchen

The Main House boasts a very large Master Bedroom with King memory foam bed. An upper deck off of the Master Bedroom overlooks the side and front yard. Two smaller bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floor have a Queen, and a Full, respectively. All of the original art in the house is by renowned Canadian artist Gerald Zeldin, and Keely King.

Bathrooms on the 1st and 2nd floor are both stone with heated floors. Upstairs is a walk-in shower, downstairs is a shower and bath.

The Main House kitchen is a true Chef's Kitchen with a Wolf commercial gas range and all necessities for a memorable dinner party- German chef knives, copper flatware, Schott Zwiesel crystal wine glasses, ovenware, essential spices / oils etc, vintage antler steak knives, and formal place settings for 8 at the large harvest table in the dining room. Nespresso espresso machine with provided coffee capsules to relax and unwind in the mornings.

GUEST HOUSE: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and kitchenette

A separate house just steps from the main house across the side yard, The Guest House features a comfortable vintage living room adjacent to a kitchenette that open onto a sprawling upper deck overlooking the back yard with lake views filtered through the pines. There is a small bathroom with a shower, and a good sized bedroom with a King memory foam mattress.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS: large yard, 3 separate deck areas, hot tub, sauna, bbq

The large wraparound back and side decks overlook the back yard. There is a 7 person hot tub that will be warm and ready for you upon your arrival, a 6 person steam sauna, a lounge seating area, an 8 person outdoor dining table, and top of the line Weber BBQ.

The yard is an enormous grass area and wildflower area filled with sunlight where the family can play games and horse around.

There is a smaller private 2nd floor deck off of the master bedroom that offers views of the property and the massive redwoods.

There is another large private 2nd floor deck off the Guest House (separate from the main house) with a seating area which offers views of the back yard and filtered views of the lake.

*please note that the patio furniture is covered or stored from Nov-March due to snow.

ENTERTAINMENT QUARTERS: cinema, music studio & private office

Welcome to our pride and joy. Beneath the Guest House are two rooms separated by a set of sliding doors- One is the Cinema where you'll find a comfy vintage sofa to sink into while you enjoy your movies (Netflix, Amazon etc) on a 9 foot cinema tv.

In the next room is a stunning 1911 Steinway Grand piano. This room also has a desk where you'll be able to work remotely and in silence and privacy.

The Entertainment Quarters is on the bottom floor of the Guest House and has a separate entrance accessible from the yard.

OTHER AMENITIES:

From spring though fall we offer 4 bikes for our guests' use, included in the rental. 2 are electric cruisers and 2 are Scott full suspension mountain bikes. There are 4 helmets that are cleaned and disinfected after each stay. We encourage our guests to explore the amazing local region on bicycle. There is a medium and a large in each bike model.

The wraparound driveway can easily accommodate 6 cars.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

A quick walk down the road will bring you to the newest neighborhood addition, The Dog and The Bear, which is a fantastic gastro-pub offering great fare and a nice wine / beer menu and won Best Restaurant last year. Walk a few steps further and you'll get to our private neighborhood pier and beach. Avoid the crowds in the summer down here where there is seldom more than a handful of people! There are a few other fantastic restaurants nearby including Tahoma Market, a boutique grocery store and deli, the West Shore Cafe, Spoon restaurant, Firesign Cafe, Swiss Lakewood, a phenomenal trendy up scale dining spot, and much more. The Olympic cross country trails are 5 minutes south, which offer great cross country skiing in the winter and hiking in the spring and summer, while Homewood ski resort is 5 minutes north, and Palisades (formerly Squaw) is just 20 minutes away.

FINALLY:

We are currently booking private events and weddings. These must be booked in advance and separately from the airbnb listing. Please contact us to discuss your needs and vision, and we’d be happy to host your event!

Weekend we won't forget!
Julian and Tao's property was the perfect place for a special girl's trip I had planned with my friends. The kitchen was fully stocked with high end appliances which was perfect for a night we spent cooking and eating out on the lush lawn! The home is cozy and beautiful. All my friends loved the original artwork around the home and we spent lots of time in the huge jacuzzi. We would love to stay here again next summer. Thank you both!

Quick Getaway
We really enjoyed our one night stay by the lake. Bed was really comfortable, and both Piano’s were in tune. I was particularly drawn to the Yamaha upright.

Cozy Winter Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at this property with our family. It was nice to have a property that fit our group comfortably and we liked that none of the rooms were bunk beds or twin beds but it really was set up for couples. We appreciated enjoying the hot tub and sauna in the winter snow! There was plenty of parking for our larger group and there was a good place for family meals - the kitchen was a little bit tight if more than a few people were trying to help cook but it was very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils and everything you could possibly need! The host was also very quick to respond!

They purchased and renovated the Chalet and Guest House and put all of their love of design and art, and the joys of hosting friends and family into the homes. Why they chose this property

This property is not your typical rental- it is our Shangri-La. Every inch of the property and homes has been designed with relaxation, pleasure, and elegance in mind. From the vintage top of the line Marantz stereo system to the Chef's kitchen with fine German knives, crystal Schott Zweisel wine glasses, heated bathroom floors, the 1911 prized Steinway grand piano, to the hot tub and sauna, no expense has been spared to bring our guests an absolute top of the line experience.

What makes this property unique

Close to the lake, skiing, and restaurants, yet secluded, private and quiet.
