Inside the home, you'll find shared living spaces that include a kitchen, dining area, and living room, perfect for spending time with loved ones no matter where you're hanging out. The gorgeous soaring, wood-paneled ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows make the space bright and airy all year-round. Step outside to the large patio and enjoy the fresh mountain air, deluxe hot tub and hosting BBQs with family and friends. The primary suite is a gorgeous and calming space, and the bunk bed room is an enormous hangout space perfect for kids of all ages. The two queen guest bedrooms are calming spaces, both with comfortable queen beds and lovely views and there are two large full bathrooms, providing plenty of space for everyone.

Please note: In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are highly recommended. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains.

Lovely long weekend at Sitzmark Escape

We had a great weekend in Tahoe Donner at Sizmark Escape. The house was a perfect size for our two families with four adults and four teens. The kids loved the bunk room downstairs. The house was very well equipped and very clean. We appreciated things like extra pillows, room fans, and a well stocked kitchen. The master bed was very comfortable as were the big sofas in the living room. Overall a great stay. I would recommend that the owners consider installing a whole house fan to cool off the home at night. It was a hot weekend and the living room reached 83 degrees even though we opened windows at night, used fans, and closed windows and blinds during the days. Summers continue to get hotter, even in the mountains. I also would suggest a keypad entry for the home so as to not have to deal with a key with multiple guests. Otherwise, this was a great home.
