Beautiful Area

We came up to do a 10K about 20 minutes away. This was a great base camp. Beautiful area, rather private. We really enjoyed the house.

Great secluded get away.

Fantastic stay, a little off the beat and path, but relatively easy to find. Close to amenities that we required for a short stay, and no neighbours to bother us. Large yard was great to play around with the kids and a great outdoor set up for dinner and cocktails. Recommend for a stay, would stay longer next time.

Great cabin. Will definitely Visit again

My Son and I came to this cabin for a week and had a blast. The property is large and fun to play around in. The steamer shower is an awesome amenity. I had never used one and it was great. Be sure to bring marsh mallows and firewood. The fire pit near the river is perfect!

Great River Stay

The house and property are great! Being near the river was so nice. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We were bummed not to be able to use the hot tub. The company was very prompt responding and getting it clean and refilled, however it was not ready for use by the time we left. The hard water was the trickiest part. We were not able to use the washer because the water stained the linens. The water came out yellow. There was a drinking water filter in the kitchen witch was great. We would stay there again. Summer time would be lovely there!

Really nice home in really nice location

The house is beautiful, and the location of the house is even better (nice river, large garden, forest). Only downside I can come up with is that the house was not really clean, a lot of dog hair on the floor and in one of the beds.

Everything was great. When we checked in a little after 4:00 on Monday I noticed the grass had not been mowed but by the time we got back from dinner a few hours later the entire property was perfectly trimmed. I have absolutely no idea how that got accomplished....The master shower on the first floor could use some operating instructions, we got the rain head to work but that was about it. The vanity sink in the master at the window, the pop-up drain does not work and I did not have time to fix it...On the picky side, the kitchen could have used a few knives. We used my Swiss army knife for the basics.Really enjoyed the fire pit with my pyromaniac son!

Great property for a family trip.

House accommodated our family of 5 nicely and everyone had their own bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed, but it didn’t have a toaster. All the beds were very comfortable. Having the river, really close to the back yard, was a major plus. We utilized the fire pit and hot tub and experienced no problem with these amenities. The washer seems to only stain whites, not colors. We reported the ice maker did not work properly and so we just bought ice instead. We feel the house could benefit from having some rugs in some areas to soften the decor and help with the echo, as you can hear every foot step and every work spoken, during quiet hours. Ear plugs could help, if you’re planning a stay. The area itself was absolutely beautiful and the neighbors we met were friendly and we had some deer visit us in the mornings. The property management responds in a timely manner and addressed all of our concerns prior to arrival. The downstairs master has a unique shower system that should really have instructions. The bottom handle knob controls hot/cold and is the only one to be concerned with to take a simple shower with the shower wand that you can turn towards the wall prior to turning on the water, as it takes a minute to get hot. Other than having more coffee mugs and steak knives, this home was a great vacation spot. Thanks!

Beautiful property, house had a few minor issues

First and foremost, upon arriving, noted the two garbage cans were full, with bags of garbage stacked on top of the cans, where as the wild animals/birds had garbage all over the ground, not a great start to our arrival. Downstairs bathroom sink didn’t have the cold water working, plus the dishwasher door

Good Weekend Getaway

Overall our stay was good with pros and cons.Pros:-location was a quick easy drive from Seattle to getaway for the weekend-the property is nice and big, with a river running in the backyard which was a quick walk-we liked having access to a grill to bbq-the kids enjoyed being in the hot tub since it was cold outside -the bedrooms each had access to its own bathroom-we liked the open concept and high ceilings Cons:-the hot tub did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our stay-the biggest disappointment was that the kitchen was not well stocked-there was not enough coffee provided and the coffee filters were too small so the coffee ground overflowed into the pot-since we had planned on cooking while we were staying here, we expected there to be some cutting knifes and kitchen towels. There were only 3 steak knives provided and no towels-even though the property says “pet friendly”, it would be nice to know upfront that a fee will be added for any pets.-we had no access to any kind of TV. The only way you can watch anything on TV is if you had a Roku account, including Netflix and Prime. This was not mentioned beforehand.

Meteor shower!

While there were a couple of small issues with the property, our overall stay was absolutely fantastic! The additional instructions for the final arrival to the property are CRUCIAL! The home is absolutely gorgeous with every amenity we needed (except plastic wrap and aluminium foil in the kitchen). The hallway bathroom shower head didn’t work. The dishwasher door is heavy and WANTS to be open - beware! We had multiple visits from local deer. The lawn is perfect for stargazing! We were able to enjoy the Perseid meteor shower at its peak. Checking in and out was super easy. Would absolutely book this property again!

Beautiful property with room for improvement

Our family spent a full week at this property and overall had a great experience. The check-in process was smooth, and we appreciated the helpful email beforehand with directions and info about cell coverage. The location is stunning — the yard is well maintained, river access was excellent, and we really enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable, and all the linens and furniture were clean and cozy. The steam shower was a luxurious touch once we figured it out — a small instruction card would be a helpful addition. That said, there were some cleanliness and supply issues worth noting. The tile floors and kitchen needed a deeper clean, and the kitchenware — especially pans — was outdated and limited. The sliding glass door was very dirty, likely from dogs, and there were almost no basic cleaning supplies (no vacuum, broken broom, no mop or Swiffer pads), making upkeep tough. Only one trash bag was provided for the entire week. The biggest downside was the hot tub — the water was green and unusable. While the property manager responded quickly to our message, the issue wasn’t resolved during our stay. Despite these concerns, we still had a lovely time. The property has so much potential and, with more attention to cleaning and kitchen updates, it could truly be a five-star rental. We’d love to return once these details are addressed.

Remote Respite

This is a beautiful property with terrific outdoor spaces for enjoying nature. The sound of the river is the backdrop always. The house is so quiet/well insulated that you hear nothing unless a window is cracked. Amazing! There are some quirks to the house like the dishwasher that won’t open all the way, and the noisy stairs to the upstairs room, but also an amazing sauna shower in the Primary! This is not a chefs kitchen - missing knobs on the range, cookware that could use upgrading, and only 1 dull knife, but has everything you need to make decent meals. Even has an instant pot and air fryer! We used the grill a lot! There is no cell service at the house, but the WIFI is so powerful and complete you won’t notice! 10 minutes to town for any necessities is nice.

Rest for the Homeless

We have used VRBO in 8 states and 3 foreign countries and always have had a positive experience until this Jordan Ridge location. From the first impression of a hard to read address and no porch light to walking in to a 52 degree residence the place is a peach. No working dishwasher was only the appetizer compared to the furniture and overall cleanliness- the nail sticking out of the blue loveseat was a special touch. Moving on the non functioning cold water in the guest bath was interesting but the hand wand just tossed in the tub and no wall mount was a special treat and testament to creative cleansing. In the downstairs master bedroom the non working shower and non draining right sink were a special hit. The master stroke for this one of a kind experience in a Pet Friendly residence, was the fresh rat poison placed strategically at exterior points around the house. We now know that hydrogen peroxide will induce vomiting and save an animal's life. Great location with many non functioning amenities that could have made this place special. "Of Biblical Proportions" would be a an exaggeration. The furnace worked. This residence would make a homeless family seek employment.

Beautiful property and house

This is an incredible property, and we truly enjoyed our time here. There were a few glitches which weren't ideal, and when we reached out to Vacasa, asking for help with the shower in the Master ensuite, they said they would pass it on to the local contact, who we never heard from. The only contact information for the local contact was a phone number, and the property is in a dead zone. I don't have anything set up to use wifi for calling or texting, and was a bit disappointed that the local contact wasn't available by email. The kitchen is sparsely stocked where tools and utensils are concerned, but mostly was enough to get us by. A toaster would be a nice touch ;) The dishwasher also doesn't open more than about 1/2 way, making stocking the bottom tray difficult. And I mentioned the shower in the Master. It looks amazing, but it's super high tech. Instructions would be awesome. All of that said, the space is incredible, and the property is peaceful and private. The house could use a little TLC, but the couches and beds were comfy and everything was clean. The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of the day, and the BBQ is wonderful for cooking outdoor meals. There were some games and a football left for guest use, and we had a great time playing football with our kid in the spacious yard. All in all, it was a lovely spot, and we'd stay here again, even with the few small areas of concern.

We had a wonderful stay! The owners have taken great care in providing a wonderful place to share with others. It looks like almost all the previous complaints have been fixed or handled. The driveway was long, but not that steep and without any recent rain we had no issues getting non 4x4 's vehicles down there. My only suggestion would be maybe invest in a water softening system for the whole house. The mineral smell while showering was noticable. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful home at almost the end of a very long downhill gravel road. Hot tub was great. We had a question about the fancy shower, quick reply and very helpful. Kitchen could use a regular frying pan, the nonstick doesn’t work well. Overall, we loved it.

Peaceful location - fast WIFI

We spent three-days there and it was a good home base for visiting nearby family. Great yard and a nice house. It is a bit hard to find (though the check-in note gave some instructions) and it’s a pretty steep and bumpy road where you do probably need AWD in the summer and 4WD during the muckier seasons. It has a nice kitchen, but not a great setup for making lots of meals due to not having a lot of pots, pans, or any cooking knives. If you plan on cooking a bunch there, I'd bring a chef's knife just in case. It did have fast WIFI, which was appreciated for my content-creator son and I.

The stay was very nice and we all said we would stay here again. However, we were unable to use the hot tub because left open and it was filled with debris from, what I was told by the cleaners, the last visitors. Most of all I would recommend a water system for the house. When you turn the water on anywhere it smells like rust and we metal. But overall it was cozy and beautiful.

Great quiet retreat for couple or family

My husband and I booked this location for 4 nights to enjoy an anniversary get away together. This place is large and able to accommodate a big family! We stayed in the master bedroom on the main floor with a king bed. Lots of room to move around in the room. Would have been nice to have a chair to relax in within the room next to the wall to wall windows since there was room but there is an ottoman at the foot of the bed for putting on shoes. Kitchen was really big and plenty of room to move around with a couple of people. We used the bbq’er and it was easy to start. The hot tub was to temp when we got there. Our favorite part was the river and peacefulness. There were a couple of neighbors but we never heard them and couldn’t see each other while being on the property. There is a really large yard which would be great to play games on or in our case sit in the shade and read a book. We even saw a doe with her two little fawns that still had their spots. We watched them cross the river. You’ll want to have stable footing to get down to the water as it’s a slightly steep embankment but it’s doable for those that have a good foot beneath them. Although we didn’t use the fire pit there was wood provided and could easily temp you to make smores. I recommend getting groceries in Lake Stevens at Safeway before coming to the house as it’s a little trek out of town. We hit up the local pizza shop “Omega pizza and pasta”. They make a mean calzone and huge honey mustard chicken salad. If you go into Lake Stevens I would highly recommend “Katsu Burger” and in the quaint town of Snohomish you can go to vintage shops and stop at Jake’s Cafe on 2nd for breakfast. We went down the mountain loop scenic byway and saw up close Mt. Baker. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
