About this property

Historic Charm with Modern Amenities in Central Cape May

This historic Cape May cottage, built in 1890 and renovated in 2015, has four units. Unit 4 has two parking spaces, a private rear entrance, and occupies half of the second and third floor of the house. Bed sheets, bathroom towels, and five beach chairs and an umbrella included!

The second floor contains a spacious living room with fireplace, two sofa beds and a dining area. There is also a large eat in kitchen, a full bath and a private bedroom with queen bed. There is a second entrance off the kitchen which includes a bistro table with seating for two.

On the third floor you will find the large open concept master bedroom, with a queen bed with trundle bed underneath, reading nook, and TV. There is also a small full bath with shower, a separate laundry room, and a tucked away desk and work area.

Outside there is a picnic table and a barbeque grill to be shared with the renters of the other condos in the building. There is also a storage box outside where you can find the five beach chairs and umbrella.

*Please be advised that VRBO's default description for a room with sofa beds in it is to label it a bedroom. This property is in fact a 2 bedroom property with two additional sofa beds in the living room and not a 3 bedroom property as described by VRBO in places in this listing.*

This VRBO was in the perfect location and a great price. We were within walking distance of tons of restaurants and shows and only a short drive from the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for a long weekend at the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

We wanted to have a little vacation weekend with our son & girlfriend. The set up of the home had both a big, comfortable living room / dining area as well as plenty of privacy for both couples. We had a very pleasant stay at John’s apartment in Cape May. The location was excellent—just a 4-minute drive to the beach—and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. It was spotless and very well maintained.What made our experience even better was John’s hospitality. He kindly allowed us to check out at 3 pm so that our toddler could have his nap before we left, which we greatly appreciated.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return to this apartment in the future.

This property was very clean and had all the amenities, even a robe which I was thankful for as I didn’t brIng one. I brought food down and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook a meal. It’s a cozy and quiet place and relatively close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We mostly walked to where we wanted to go as long as it wasn’t too hot.
