About this property

Waterfront home with deep water, skiing/tubing coves, firepit, pool table, SUP

You owe it to yourself to make lifetime memories at “Peace of Paradise”. Spend a week at this
spacious lake house and enjoy the beautiful wide water views across from undeveloped Smith
Mountain Lake State Park. Three bedrooms, and two extra beds in the basement office provide
plenty of room for multiple guests, as well as private space to unwind. In addition to private
sleeping accommodations on all three levels of this home, there are full baths on all three levels.

Our guests will spend their days swimming, floating, fishing, boating, and relaxing on the no-
wake zone lake, all the while working up an appetite for a dinner expertly prepared on the gas

grill, and in the fully stocked kitchen. Watch your favorite shows with Wi-fi and smart TV’s, with
comcast cable in the main level family room, both bedrooms on the main level, as well as the
basement level rec room.

Have fun in the rec room playing pool, foosball and board games. Bask in the sun with the wrap-
around deck, or lounge in the shade with the under deck patio.

Centrally located at R22, this immediate lake area has tons of room for water skiing, tubing and
wakeboarding without feeling crowded by other boats or narrow coves. We are within Walking
five minutes to the Virginia Dare Marina for a cold beverage, good food, live music, and an
opportunity to gas up the boat. Wrap up your day by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and
sitting on the deck to stargaze.
Our family has been making memories at our lake house for years. We are excited to hear

We loved our stay at Smith Mountain Lake! The house was in the perfect location for swimming, tubing, kayaking and easy boat access, with the marina conveniently close by. It was the perfect size and had all the amenities we needed. Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, though the bedrooms and living areas could use a bit more attention from the cleaning crew. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

SML Getaway

Great home, lots of room on the dock. Deep clean water. Great for swimming, fishing or just floating around. Nice neighbor, plenty of parking and plenty of floats for the lake.

Great lake week

Amazing Vacation!

SML is our absolute favorite place to be and spending a week in this beautiful house made our vacation even better! Every room was perfectly decorated and made us feel like we were at home. Plenty of games and room to spread out for everyone! There were clear instructions for check in and check out and our host was quick to respond with any questions we had. We really enjoyed our vacation here. We would vacation in this home again. It is well, equipped, clean, beautiful view, and lots of natural light. It was an ideal spot for all of our fun activities… Biking, hiking, kayaking, and dog walking. The owner, Anne was very responsive.

Lovely home on the water

Well equipped, spacious home with lots of outdoor seating. Lots of outdoor space and seating on porch and on dock. We rented a pontoon boat from one of the neighbors and had a great day on the lake. Host Anne was very responsive to questions.

Fabulous Stay

The house and location are wonderful. We arrived to a super clean vacation rental, with all the amenities you could ask for. The owners checked in with us and answered all of our questions very timely. I cannot recommend this property enough, we were so lucky it was available the week we were looking to visit SML. The property is close enough to the Food Lion, fishing on the dock is super fun for the kids. We brought our own pop up canopy for the deck to have a bit more shade and to enjoy sitting outside on the few rainy days we had.

Smith Mt. Lake Waterfront

Highly recommend this property for any season! The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and well stocked. The host was extremely helpful and responsive to the few minor questions and issues we had, even though it was Christmas weekend! Great docks, terrific stone fireplace inside and firepit outside, wonderful neighborhood.

Funtime with the Fam

This property is a great choice if you have pets and an active family! We had a couple things come up and the host was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive and supportive. It has everything you need for a family and it is a stone’s throw from the marina which is good for boating. My only suggestion is to fix the sliding glass doors so you can use them to go out to the deck. Otherwise this property is a great choice!

Quiet Retreat

Our family of 4 (two toddlers) really enjoyed our stay in this home located on a quiet cove. The house was clean and had more than enough room for us. The views from the main living area were beautiful. We enjoyed fishing and paddle boarding off the dock, roasting s’mores in the fire pit, and doing puzzles on a rainy day. A beautiful spot to see all the stars at night!! The host was very responsive to any question we had. We hope to stay again!

Awesome Getaway

Easy transaction, from the beginning to the end of our week long stay, very responsive to inquiries. Very clean and linens were provide.Extra touch of toiletries were also provided just in case you forgot to pack something.Picture as describe and more. Plenty of storage. If you like waking up to the lake and mountain view every morning, and enjoying sunset at dinner time , this is the place for you. Would definitely return to this property.
