Beautiful Mediterranean Cottage on larger estate.

Built in 2016 by an architect for his parents to retire in, this guesthouse is accessory to a larger Mediterranean home, on an acre parcel. This 1,200 s.f. cottage includes all of the best amenities, with a progression of indoor to out doors paces. The cottage shares the acre property with the main residence, however it has a separate entry and driveway, and separate yard spaces. The cottage has private access to a heated saltwater pool, and spa, which is occasionally used by the main residence. Single carport with direct access to the unit, and additional parking to 2 to 3 other vehicles. The space features an indoor/outdoor room with with an adjacent secured outdoor patio. Good views of the ocean and immediate yard.

This is a truly lovely holiday home with panoramic views of the ocean. One of the best equipped holiday houses we have stayed in, which is good as we love to cook. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. All in all a very happy stay. Thank you Eileen and Tom.

We loved staying at this home. The house had everything you could possibly need for your stay and was beautiful. We loved swimming in the pool and the hot tub was a great way to start the day. The hosts left us welcome treats when we arrived, which was a very nice touch.

Could Not Have Been Better!

We had a wonderful time on this vacation and our stay here was wonderful!Tom & Eileen were fantastic hosts who answered what few questions we had very promptly. The check in/checkout process was easy and uneventful. All appliances were modern and in perfect working order and we loved the W/D set up. Great parking with wonderful privacy. The views of the ocean and surroundings were exquisite and I loved having the bird feeder right outside of the property. Would definitely book with them again!

Lovely Cottage, Lovely Views

We loved staying in this beautiful cottage! We are a family of four with 11 and 14 year old children and we were there for a week. The expansive views make the cottage feel bigger than it is. Although we didn’t do much cooking, we prepared simple meals and we had everything we needed. For those looking for info about the kitchen, it was well appointed and lovely. We also enjoyed the bird feeder that’s in the perfect place to provide a show while you’re having breakfast. The owners made us feel very welcome and were responsive when we had questions, and we had plenty of privacy on their shared property. The home is about 5-15 minutes from most major attractions and it felt like a retreat returning there after a day of activities. We hope to stay there again!

Excellent retreat for small group

Wonderful accommodations exactly as advertised. Spent five nights there with my three sisters and enjoyed every second. Beautiful sunsets, hot tub, swimming pool, wonderfully comfortable beds. Everything we needed for a wonderful place to start and finish our days.

A very relaxing stay in a beautiful home

We loved our time here. The home was beautiful and clean. It had really nice outdoor seating that was adjacent to the open floor plan/kitchen area. We had access to the pool and Jacuzzi, which was really wonderful for my son and his girlfriend. It was such a pleasant stay. The home is surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. A really great place to stay in the foothills of SB

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is conveniently located, beautiful (as pictured), clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with the basics you may need (much better than most other rentals). The furnishings and set up were all very well thought out. The hosts were responsive and helpful without being intrusive. They were generous/above and beyond with offering fresh squeezed orange juice and welcoming to our young children. Would absolutely visit again.

Santa Barbara’s hidden gem with a million dollar view!

This super clean property is perfectly situated and has a million dollar view. This is in a very quiet residential neighborhood within 15 minutes of downtown Santa Barbara and sits high enough in the foothills to provide absolutely stunning views of the city and with beautiful ocean views and the Channel Islands. This property is perfectly designed for up to 2 couples. The master suite features a king bed, large TV and a super large double sink designer bathroom including a huge shower and separate bathtub. The second bedroom provides a queen bed with en-suite full bathroom. Linens are all provided and are way above hotel quality. The fully stocked large kitchen has everything you need and much more. We used the electric juicer for fresh orange juice every morning! The dining porch has giant pocket sliding glass doors that can be fully opened to bring the outdoors in. This area fully opens onto an outdoor patio with very comfortable cushioned seating around a beautiful propane fire table and enormous grill. The whole patio is surrounded by clear glass panels so you can enjoy every sunset without being bothered by a windy evening. You have access to the owners pool and heated spa just steps away. Parking is available within steps of front door. This property is a hidden gem where the owner has thought of everything. We arrived to the easy lockbox entry and found the owner had provided a welcome package that included a bottle of local Chardonnay, sparkling water, fresh citrus from his on property trees, fixings for our first morning. He even thought of having chilled beer mugs ready for the local craft brews we brought along! Communication with the owner Tom, a well regarded local architect, was easy and prompt. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We recommend this property without reservation. A couple of highlights on our trip was a short drive up into the foothills to visit the Painted Caves drawings by the indigenous Chumash native Americans, a wonderful dinner at La Paloma downtown, crazy good cocktails at Test Pilot and tacos at Mony both in the Funk Zone! You will really enjoy your stay at this property while enjoying Santa Barbara!

A spotless and beautiful cottage with gorgeous views. Everything you could ever ask for including two bedrooms with comfortable beds, two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, lovely family room with fireplace, and an indoor/outdoor dining room and that's just the inside! Outdoor space features a tranquil patio with a fire pit and privacy. Just a few steps away enjoy a heated saltwater pool and hot tub. The most attentive hosts, Tom and Eileen will be there for your every need. This is such a treasure!

Comfortable, except for some minor maintenance issues. Bedroom #2 has only a small screened window and was not ensuite at the time of our visit. During our stay we emailed the owner with a question and it was 72 hours before they got back to us. Workers were in the pool area daily during our stay.

Superb stay

Tom and Eileen’s cottage is beautifully designed and appointed. Only the highest quality products provided for our use and enjoyment. Fully equipped and supplied. The pool was a treat and perfect temperature. We did not use the spa but are sure it also is perfect. Hosts excellent and gracious communicators and always prompt to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect!

This was such a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It is even better than the pictures! It was fantastic to sit out on the patio terrace in the morning and evening. The view is incredible. The shared pool was wonderful and the hosts were beyond accommodating and helpful! What a place!
