Bedroom 4: Queen bed with luxury sheets, located at the rear of the home with lovely backyard, tree shaded views and full bathroom just outside the door. This room has a pocket door shutting the hallway off from the main living room for added privacy.

Thoughtful touches

The host did a great job at proving small things to allow for successful trip - dog bed, dog bowls, small treats. Also had enough necessities - trash bags, detergent, cooking oil and spray, etc. Was a wonderful time to focus on friends and family in a beautiful home.

Rest and relax... and have some fun too!

Attention to details made our stay here comfortable and welcoming! We loved the game room in the garage and the cozy living area. Kitchen is large and had everything we needed- worked out great for mom’s birthday party. Thanks to our hosts for their informative guidebook and open communication!

Hilltop Hideaway is exactly what you get

Can’t wait to return!! Fathers Day weekend getaway with 7 adults and 3 teenage boys. House was tucked away on hill and great privacy. House location between Canyon Lake and Guadalupe River. We took our boat and had a lake day and a river day. Plenty Parking at the house and has a spot for your boat back in. We tried to enjoy the backyard and back porch as much as we could with the heat. One morning we were visited by Fox and another morning a mama deer and her fawn. Beds are super comfy, and bedding is premium. Ping pong table was a hit. Joetta was a perfect host, and honestly one of the sweetest and most attentive VRBO owners I’ve ever communicated with.

Beautiful home that was perfect for our family group of 12. Very clean and had all of the space and amenities that we needed! Host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Will stay here again!

We have very busy work schedules, so traveling to quiet & relaxing places where we can have fun and reconnect with our family and friends has always been a huge joy.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this vacation property almost as soon as we turned onto River Road, crossed the bridge over the Guadalupe River, and curved around the hills of the tree canopied roads. We loved all the trees in the front and backyard, as well as the deer gathering for breakfast and dinner around the deer feeder. We've hosted our kids (grown and not grown), parents, and friends here, enjoying lots of laughs and fun together. The layout of the home makes it cozy but not scrunched together. We hope our guests have that same experience, making wonderful memories with their important people, while staying here.

What makes this property unique

Close to both Canyon Lake and New Braunfels activities, as well as a nice drive to Wimberley and Fredericksburg. In a location that feels far away from it all, but just a few minutes into town. Unique floorplan, providing privacy with the primary suite on one side of the house, a secondary Queen suite off the bedroom with privacy of a pocket door separating it from the living room, and 3 other bedrooms on the other side of the house. A lot of various outdoor gathering options with the back porch seating, pergola covered deck area with dining table, picnic table, front yard Adirondack chairs and table.
