It was like staying a Grandpa's house with an up to date well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the short walk to the Ginko Cafe on shady streets pasts neighbors' front yard flower gardens.

Our family was in town for a wedding. This house was a great place to gather for a family meal or to relax when needed. Great neighborhood. House is clean and has character.

Great Location

We had a great stay. In town for a sporting event and it was a quick and easy ride to downtown. Clean rooms, updated kitchen, and plenty of great areas to enjoy with the nice fall weather. It was perfect for our group.

Twin Cities Disc Golf Getaway

We enjoyed a comfy stay at this cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood. The house is within a reasonable distance from basically everywhere we wanted to go in Twin Cities. I would definitely recommend a stay here when in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area!

Convenient location and an enjoyable stay

Nice house with four good sized bedrooms in a quiet neighborhood. The location is within walking distance to light rail, coffee shops, restaurants and a micro-brewery. Temperature reached near 90 a few days, but each bedroom and the downstairs dining area was equipped with an AC window unit that kept it comfortable.

Graduation trip

Lovely house and great communication from host. As another review noted, there is no bathroom on the main floor and the stairs are quite steep. My father is a bit frail so I was a little concerned but it all worked out fine in the end. Had a couple of suggestions for the host and they were very receptive.

Lovely, comfortable, convenient

Our family gathered from all over for a graduation at UMN. The house was beautiful and comfortable--a great place to just sit and catch up, and there were thoughtful extras like jigsaw puzzles. The kitchen was well-equipped and immaculate, as were the bathrooms. Beds were comfy and had good reading lamps. It was easy to drive over to the U and to the airport, and there were lots of takeout options within a short drive for the times we didn’t want to cook. Katie was friendly and great to work with. Highly recommended.!

I have lived in the Twin Cities area all my life, and have traveled extensively with my husband, Curt, and our three (now grown) children. I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Minnesota (B.A. in Spanish and M.A. in Educational Psychology), and worked at a private 4-year university in the Twin Cities from March 2000 through February 2020, when I took a new position at one of the metro area’s finest community colleges. Curt completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Minnesota, where we met as college gymnasts. He has worked in housing design and real estate for several decades. We love everything about housing and hosting! Curt and I started hosting on another popular platform in December 2014, and we are thoroughly enjoying the experience and are excited to join the VRBO community! We have met literally thousands of fascinating people over the years. It has been so satisfying to open our home and share this additional fabulous location with others.

This home is beautiful, all brand new, and centrally located for any number of excursions. It's near several of the Twin Cities excellent private colleges (Augsburg, Bethel, Concordia, Hamline, Macalester, Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Saint Catherine University, University of Northwestern, University of Saint Thomas), as well as the University of Minnesota--both the Saint Paul and Minneapolis campuses. We are 1.2 miles from the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, host of "The Great Minnesota Get-Together," a can't-miss event held each summer. We are within easy access to many sports venues--less than a mile from Allianz Field, home of Minnesota United Soccer Team. And just 4 blocks to the light rail line that will take you to US Bank Stadium for a Vikings game, Target Field for the Minnesota Twins, Xcel Center to see Minnesota Wild, and easy access to University of Minnesota Gophers sports. Easy access to Mall of America via the light rail, as well as smaller local shopping malls.
