What a privilege to be a part of your first visit to Amelia Island! Thank you for staying with us and for sharing this feedback. We are happy to share that the slider doors were all replaced the week of May 6th, right after your visit. So that is a big improvement! We have not heard this feedback on the landscaping before and our attentive owner will be sure to pay the patio extra close attention on all future visits just in case. (The complex association handles all larger landscaping needs.) As for the Oak Marsh golf course, we have a disclaimer in our listing now about these renovations but so far, the majority of our guests have not experienced any major disruptions. We are sincerely sorry that their work seems to have been it's loudest during your visit. We are glad to see that even with these concerns, that you had a 5-star stay overall. In the future, please know you can always alert our team to any concerns and we will work to address them immediately during your stay. Both Club Villas pools are serviced daily, but certain times of the year there are a lot of leaves and debris given the beautiful oak tree canopy in the vicinity. Knowing about the ants, we could have reported that along with the debris, and had that checked by the complex contractors. Our team also could have shared directions to the other Club Villas pool within walking distance. Yes, the pool inside the Omni hotel nearby is restricted only to hotel guests and members of the private club. Thanks again for being our guest and in the future please don't hesitate to reach out with any concerns and questions.

Thank you for being some of our first guests (first through VRBO!) at our new rental property, 3011 Club Villas! As a designated Premier Host on VRBO that manages more than 80 total vacation rentals, our award-winning Destination Amelia team appreciates any and all feedback. We are happy to receive your 5-star review, as it adds to input from some of our other initial guests, commenting on how "very nice" the villa is. We are sorry that the keypad was having an issue syncing at check-in and we looked back at that in our communications system. Our office sees you called at 4:46 and 5:03 pm, and spoke with our Answering Service, who can usually remotely solve any surprise door lock issues. When that didn't work, our On-Call Manager was alerted and he called you back from his cell phone (which happens to be a Georgia number) since he was at another property on the same Omni Amelia Island Resort at that time. He confirmed he was able to help troubleshoot over the phone and immediately drove to you from Beach Wood (another complex within same resort) as well. We pride ourselves on our customer service and are glad this surprise was quickly addressed. Thanks again for being our guest, and we are so glad you enjoyed the beautiful marsh views!
