Host answered all our questions in a very reasonable time. Plenty of room and bathrooms for our family of 11. A tv would have been nice in the cabin. Would have been nice to open windows but no screens were on them. Loved the 2 washer and dryers and 2 refrigerators. Nice to have king beds in every room of the lodge. We would go back in a heart beat!
This was the perfect place for a family reunion. The place was big, clean, had a great well stocked kitchen and a long table for everyone to eat at. The entire place was awesome! There were kayaks and row boats for the big lake. They even had quite a few fishing poles! My entire family loved the place. And the hosts were super! We hope to be back again!
Same as the last 2 times we were here, everything we needed was provided. And, the Lodge had some nice new updates that added more functionality and ease of use.
Well kept, cleanCouldn’t ask for a better equipped property for kitchen and visitation, teens loved water and a deer came in back yard Would definitely stay there again
Beautiful property! Having your own serene private lake even for a week is something worth the cost of entry. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing with the boats all provided as well. There is a large outdoor sauna at the top of the steps down to the lake for continual jump in then warm up sessions. There's a well sized 6 bedroom main cabin and a smaller 1 bed kitchen bath cabin next door. The land has great space in the front and back for yard games and a nice fire pit and picnic table setup for lake views. The hosts have clearly thought through the logistics of big groups coming to stay as there are two stoves, two large fridges, and a section of tables to store food and coolers for multiple parties. Minor downsides: kitchen could use some more counter tops, shower heads should be updated to a taller spray head for tall guest comfort. All in this is a 5/5 property that is truly low hassle, relaxing, and the hosts are hands off and let you enjoy. Will be booking this stay again in the future!
Awesome get away!! The property is better than expected with the private lake, kayaks, canoes, boat, sauna, well equipped kitchen and grills on the rear porch!
Beautiful property with all of the amenities. Back woods 20 minute drive of the highway to get there was beautiful. The lodge and cabin were beautiful and well equipped. Will stay there again👍
Beautiful property. The hosts have thought of everything. Our family had the best time making memories on the private lake. There was plenty of room for my sister and her family, my brother, mother, my children, and grandchildren.
We had the pleasure of staying at the lodge with group of old friends. It is a private and expansive property with a great lake for swimming and exploring on one of the row boats on premises. Would definitely recommend!
While I was a bit surprised by the remote location of the property (getting there seemed like miles and miles of narrow, winding road) the property met our needs very well. Having the lake to ourselves was definitely a plus. All in all a great place!
Amazing from the moment you walk in. YOU seriously only need clothes food and personal items. EVERYTHING was provided. There were 15 adults and we rode our sxs by day and had a fire and games at night ! This is the place to be !!! For a UP vacation getaway.
This was a great property for our family reunion. We had 14 adults and 5 kids. The lake was great. We had a fire in the outdoor fire pit every night. Lots of room for the kids to run and play. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of pans/utensils to use. We could all fit around the big table for meals.
Ideal for large groups. Isolation with internet and a great view. What else do you need? Truck or SUV will help with the driveway. Lots of room for cooking. Plenty of firewood. Will return.
Great connecting spot for our group- 13 guys all had tons of room and beds as well as plenty of bathrooms. Was a great spot for the different ORV trails we rode in the area. Good Restaurants are about an hours drive so I would consider cooking in or planning to spend at least 2 hrs round trip for some of the great choices or food in the area, from Iron city to Marquette. Overall great place with an awesome lodge and the sauna was icing on the cake for me. Would stay again.
The 5 mile drive on a bumpy 2-track is well worth it when you reach the lodge and cabin on 160 acres with it's own private lake. We very comfortably slept over 20 men in the ample sleeping quarters. But the real gem is the huge gathering space in the main lodge. Beautiful views of the lake out one side and a kitchen/bar area on the other. A great place to congregate.
We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The access to the lake, the beautiful home, the remote location and the amenities available were perfect. Our kids caught many fish, used the canoes and kayaks daily and loved the lodge atmosphere. The owners were extremely accommodating. There was even an instance where a tree fell down after a storm, and the owners immediately removed it, which was above and beyond. We had an amazing time and would highly recommned!
If you love getting away from it all, this place is perfection. The lake, the boats, the beds, campfire, the set up. EVERYTHING! We loved it!!! Our family made some really wonderful memories. Thank you!
