Recognized for its award-winning architecture, the open floor plan offers a stunning and spacious living area with a new smart TV, well-equipped kitchen with counter seating, and an inviting dining space to accommodate eight people.
Guests also enjoy gathering outside on the large screened-in porch with plenty of seating, front porch and small porches with rockers off each of the bedrooms. The first-floor primary king bedroom includes a recently renovated bath (shower only).

Upstairs, you’ll find two beautifully appointed bedroom suites designed for comfort and privacy. Each bedroom offers a private Juliet balcony with a rocking chair—perfect for quiet moments with a morning coffee or an evening breeze—along with blackout curtains for restful nights and spacious dressers for unpacking with ease. The first suite is a king bed and features a spa-like en-suite bathroom with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower and an oversized single vanity with ample counter space. The second suite is a queen bed and equally inviting, with its own en-suite bathroom offering a tub and shower combination and a single vanity, ideal for both quick rinses after the beach and leisurely evening baths.

Continue up to the glass-enclosed tower room, a charming hideaway filled with natural light and outfitted with comfortable club chairs for two and a twin daybed—perfect for a cozy reading nook, a quiet retreat, or an additional sleeping space for a lucky guest.

Great location

The house is in a convenient spot. 3 blocks from town square. Seaside seems to be VERY crowded and packed with unsupervised teens on bicycles.

The Homeowner's Collection team pulled out all the stops as per usual to ensure that we had a wonderful time, including meeting us at our cottage on arrival, providing us with welcome cooler with a bottle of wine, coffee, and the cutest of beach towels, and being available via text 24/7 for any of our needs during our stay. Curphey cottage was perfect for our family of 6 and was updated, charming, clean, and well-appointed. The only downside was that it was so close to the beach we never got on our bicycles. :)! I highly recommend a stay in this darling, roomy vacation home. Congratulations to the homeowners of Curphey Cottage on making such a fabulous getaway and thank you for sharing it with us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This year we stayed at the Curphey Cottage. We really liked this property. A few things that would make this a 5 star for us. The ice maker did not work, had to go buy ice. One of the bathroom on the second floor is not great. It contains a claw tub that is very very small and not a user friendly shower. It is difficult to get the shower curtain completely around the tub. There is no tile so this must be done or you will ruin the wood. It also was very dark lighting compared to the other 2 that had been redone. The 3rd floor daybed for extra sleeping is not useable...no blinds...if you are up at 5:30 a.m. every day, and don’t mind people seeing you at night it might work. We as a family would love to have 2 single beds in one of the upstairs rooms instead of the queen. Makes for happier siblings. Love the grill, we like to grill. You will need to get charcoal. Don’t know if a gas grill is an option? The driveway was nice, we brought a portable pickleball net and the kids were able to play some games. An excellent washer and dryer! I am thankful for that (we had horrendous ones at another property) Quiet dishwasher! Overall we enjoyed our stay, the property was very nice and would stay at this property again next year!

Curphey Cottage

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Curphey Cottage for four nights. It was a big enough space for the five of us + two infants. The porch was nice to have to leave beach items on. Close access to the beach was also nice. Unfortunately, I would not return to this rental and may not return to seaside. The houses are beautiful from the outside but the insides need some help. For the curphey cottage, the master bed was very soft and dipped in the middle; the other two beds were rock hard. The kitchenware was old, many pans didn't have lids, the knives were dull, and the stove was awful. It took 25 minutes to boil water and 40 minutes to get chicken nuggets crispy at 400 degrees. In the kitchen we also kept accidentally turning on the dish disposal because it is on the side of the cabinets. Additionally, two of the bathrooms lacked counter space to put anything on. Another thing that is annoying in general about homeowners collection is that none of the houses have salt, pepper, or oil - any of the normal things that an airbnb would have, so you have to buy all that just for a 4 day stay. Overall the amount of money paid does not equate to what you are getting.
