Welcome to the Creamery Cottage, built in 1915 for the foreman of the Point Reyes Creamery when butter was king in this district. Our spacious 1600 sq ft home is decorated with eclectic and characterful family heirlooms, books, and a fascinating collection of antique prints and paintings. Located in Point Reyes town, yet quiet and serene, with a lovely patio and a stunning half-acre of gardens. Updated bedrooms and full cook's kitchen. A sweet location for exploring glorious West Marin. Washer and dryer available on outside patio.

Spacious Cottage in a Great Central Location

We had a wonderful stay at the Creamery Cottage. The cottage is spacious, and the kitchen & bathrooms well-appointed. The location is stellar, with "downtown" Pt. Reyes Station less than a 5 minute walk away. If you are into the outdoors, you couldn't pick a better spot for an HQ while you explore the many attractions of Pt. Reyes. Our only criticism would be the sitting furniture (chairs/couches), which were quaint and classic, but not very comfortable. Aside from the dining room table there wasn't really a great place for us to gather and comfortably sit together as a family. That said, we had a great time and would return in the future.

Spacious and comfortable, mind the steps

I stayed here with four family members (all adults) and we had a lovely time. Check-in and communication were easy. House is well-stocked with everything you could think of.. The only two things I would flag for future renters: there are approximately 5-6 different interior single steps/floor levels in the house. They are marked but all of us (who range in age 22-45) tripped several times. So if you are traveling with anyone with any sort of mobility issue or the elderly, I would likely not recommend this space. It was otherwise great and I'd stay here again! Quiet location but walking distance to everything in the village. Incredibly comfortable beds and everything was very clean. It was uncharacteristically cool when we were there and our hosts had set up an extra heater and between that and the gas fireplace, we were very comfortable. It is all one level and provided ample space for us all to spread out. Internet connection was great.

Creamery Cottage is a one-of-a-kind cottage in Point Reyes, it is an amazing location in Point Reyes, but feels private at the same time. The gardens are spectacular and the owners are good friends who are incredible hosts with a great sense of style and taste.
