Beware!

On March 2nd my husband and 4 of his friends arrived at this property only to find it had been overbooked the first night. The host was not available at all so we had to call VRBO. They tried to tell us we rented the casita on the property, which obviously wasn’t the case for 5 adult males. Their party had to rent 2 hotel rooms for the first night and they were able to check in to the rental on the second day. VRBO and the owners assured us we would be refunded for the first night. We have not received a refund. In addition to the first day being ruined from all the hassles…there were no trash bags, stained towels and a bag of onions in the cabinet that had sprouted roots! I usually read the reviews and in this instance I truly wish I had. They were not wrong! I would not rent from this host ever again.

Nice house & location -- BUT, beware...

The house was as advertised -- clean, and recently refurbished -- and in a quiet, historic district. There were a few "glitches" which need to be mentioned: 1) The owner/agent failed to provide the check-in process or entry code, despite multiple requests [We were lucky that upon arrival, the property manager was just leaving the property, and let us in!] 2) One of the showers would not work. 3) None of the shower amenities (e.g., soap, shampoo, etc.) had been filled. 4) Hair found in one of the shower drains.

Do not stay here

24 hours before our flight, Hannah cancelled our reservation. She said she overbooked it. Oddly enough, I had seen another review stating she did this and I messaged her twice the week prior to our reservation to confirm our booking. She said yes and that she would send me the check in details. Instead of the check in information, she cancelled the reservation. My intention for writing this review is so that others don’t go through this!!

Double booked

We showed up to check in and someone was already there. Very inconvenient, double booked? Made the beginning of our vacation a nightmare. Now I’m having trouble getting ALL my money back!!!!! Reluctant to use VRBO again.
