About this property
Industrial Modern Loft House in Midtown
Originally a print shop in the 1920's, it's been renovated to a modern industrial residence and furnished with carefully selected elements, and original art.
It's minutes to most everything, but It's in a quiet, residential neighborhood. If you go for an evening stroll, you can see the city skyline and you'll find others out for a jog, walking their dogs, or out on their front porches.
The space
You'll walk into a great-room with 20' high ceilings, a view to the loft and open to the kitchen.
The kitchen has all you will need. If not, please message us and we can arrange delivery of any of the basics.
Each bedroom has black-out curtains, ultra-plush mattress toppers, and the queens are fitted with silky bamboo sheets. You will absolutly look forward to getting into bed for a great night's rest.
The living room is designed for conversation with thoughtful lighting, couch, mid-century lounger, and double egg chair. Light the "fire" place if you want extra ambiance. 65" 4K TV loaded with Netflix and Prime for all to see. (It also swings if you need to angle it toward the kitchen.
There is bar seating and place-settings for 6. However, we can accommodate up to 8 if need be. Reach out to us if your party is greater than six people.
The master bedroom looks out the back yard, and has a large en-suite bathroom with Moroccan tile and natural light.
In the back yard, enjoy the sunrises and sunsets under the pergola and turn on the misting system for those hot sunny day's we're known for! It's fully landscaped, and has a basketball hoop, beanbag toss, rope, and washer toss.
Enjoy the entertainment space in the barn too. Connect with your friends and family over a game of darts, mini pool or ping pong. There are also two smart TVs if you want to sign in and keep an eye on any events or sports you're following.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house, yard, and game "barn."
Other things to note
There is a casita at the back of the property where you can find us or other guests. Parking for the casita is on the left side of the house. You'll likely not see anybody, but feel free to say hi if you do! We're friendly.

About the host
Hosted by Erin Brinkman
I'm originally from north of Apache Junction (about 40 miles east of Phoenix.) I recommend it for a day trip! The light on the Superstition Mountains and the silhouette of saguaros at sunset is 100% worth the trip.
I've lived abroad and started hosting travelers on a site called Couchsurfing, before Vrbo and Airbnb existed! Traveling and homemaking are near and dear to my heart.

Why they chose this property
My partner and I have been frequenting the restaurants in this neighborhood for several years so we didn't hesitate when the opportunity to have a place here arose. It's been a blessing to become even more familiar with the neighborhood we already felt at home in.
What makes this property unique
It was love at first sight- the great room, spiral staircase, and custom island won us over immediately. After that, the backyard, mister system, barn, master bathroom.... There's just so much to love about this place.
